Ultimate OBD JScan Thread

AFAIK, dealer can only see what WiTech shows them, like sales features, etc. specific to your VIN's codes.

Why would they have reason to go snooping around the BCM settings anyway?

FWIW, I've gotten full WiTech scan printouts from my dealer and the only thing in them is part numbers/code levels for each module.

I don't think a dealer would have any reason to snoop around BCM settings but being under warranty and if a warranty question came into play, I was curious if that is something that would be visible. Good to know that the WiTech doesn't dive that deep down.

I installed the parts for the Proximately Entry today and programmed it all using JSCAN and the info in this post on the install thread. Not everything matches word for word, but using the search tool on JSCAN I was able to find it. The only one I could not find was this one "
Cust.Prog.Features- Passive Entry Unlock All Doors or Approach Door- ENABLED". Not sure what that is but everything seems to be working fine.

Maybe someone else or @Jimmy07 knows?

Is it possible to have the rambox lids show up on the dashboard as 'open' just like the tailgate does if not fully latched?

Any audio setting available on Jscan?

I’m not sure, but I would think not unless there is some electric switch/latch connected to them to communicate to the BCM

I only ask because each Rambox lid latch is electric and when open there is a light in the lid that seems to timeout when the bed lights do if on at the same time. This makes me think that the lights are controlled by the BCM like everything else on this truck.

not sure. @Jimmy07 can you help?
Well, I tried it and nothing yet. The only adaptation I could find for Performance Pages was called RACE Automatic Activation Performance Page-Customer Settings Menu Enable/Disable. I enabled it, reset the ECU's etc but the pages does not show up. I am betting I am missing something simple but I cannot figure out what that is. Hoping @Jimmy07 or one of the other experts has some thoughts on this. Not a huge deal, but not it is a challenge! :)

You need to disable connected services for those to show up. Go to Modules > body controller > configuration, and search for ECU Configuration 18 Connected Services, and turn that off.
Disable that RACE automatic activation setting. Enable performance pages. Reboot the radio twice. This only works on the 8.4 with nav or 12” screens.

Thanks @Jimmy07 guess I’m SOL with this one

Thanks @Jimmy07 That worked to get the pages in the center dash, but they haven't shown up in the radio yet. I also now have a U0402 code that pops up and wont stay cleared. The bypass cable and ODB dongle is still connected so I suppose that could cause it or is that part of the Connected Services disable? I did get that code once before when trying to work on disabling the 3 horn honk. At that time, I think the bypass cable and dongle may have still been connected then too, so I will pull all that see see what happens. I am guessing the Connected Services disable has nothing to do with that.

Is there any way to actually make all the gauges and performance meters work within the pages?

I saw a Ram driving down the road with its Amber led mirror lights on the other day. I have the DRL ambers turned on. Has anybody been able to turn their mirror lights on?

If you have newest firmware update for your TazerDT, it will enable the mirror.
