Uconnect T25.51 Update

Yay, mine updated yesterday as well. Mywife had taken it out for a 30 minute drive the day before, nothing happened. Then yesterday I took it to work (30 minutes) and got the message saying it was updating. Checked the system and yes its updated.
I dont understand the haphazardness of the process but at least it is done.

I wonder if they still continue with looking for bugs or adding features and perhaps a version 28 will be out soon or so.

My money is no more updates for us. The 2025s will get new versions and older UC5 nada. But who knows.
Firmware updates are never to add features.

Can someone PM me version T27.48? Having issues with T27.46. Sometimes the screen stays black and backup camera doesn't work for a minute during start. Would like to try .48. Thanks in advance!

I've been seeing this screen on startup such last July. In addition to having the audio cut out from the left and right front speakers, randomly while driving. I thought the update might fix the issues. The service tech suggests T27.46 as it was covered by a TSB, BUT he said the update had been killing the radios, so it was up to me if I wanted to have it done or not. I opted not to.

I hadn't seen this page yet, or I would have likely said go ahead and update it.. I'm currently on T25.51

There is no such update, everyone who claims to have it refuses to provide a picture of their radio.

T25 was an extremely bad update. I havnt heard of any major problems with T27.46 but it's your radio and your choice (until it updates on its own randomally anyways.).

I went to two different dealers to try to get the update. According to the TSB for it, there’s problems with 27.46. And the firmware over the air campaign has been put on hold until further notice.
They tried to install it on the truck, but were unsuccessful.
It sounds like there is something wrong with it. I suspect they will be releasing another update at some point.

Their latest TSB is 08-050-24 Rev A.

I can't find a TSB with that number through the NHTSA website. I have 27.46 and there aren't any TSB's issued for my VIN#.

I still say it doesn't exist, the TSB doesn't exist either.
There was a TSB for an older update to UPDATE TO T27.46, not anything higher.

It also appears that they’ve canceled more updates for firmware over the air (FOTA) for now.

I need to look around for a dealer who is able to do this update. I’m tired of my speakers cutting out while listening to something on the radio.

Interesting it appears the update is messing with radios. (According to this thread - OTA software update apparently corrupted the radio and climate control.

Without asking last month, my 23 Laramie did an upgrade while driving and either finished or gave up with an error - though the version # is updated to MY23.T27-46-PROD. Before the upgrade, all the display and radio features worked fine. At the time, I only lost the navigation and everything...

I took it to another dealer who said the update failed after 10% and they opened a Star case. I did try this one when I got home that afternoon. It installed without issue, but did not fix the audio cutout issue I’m having from the driver side speaker.

A follow up post - about two days after installing it, the screen began responding oddly. Swiping between pages in Apple Carplay, brings up a screen from the native app from the truck. Something is funky.
