Also in for any version past T27.46 🍻
I only have up to T27.46 I can share, not 48.
Did they really go up by 00.02 revision numbers? Must be a really non-note worthly update.

If someone gets me T27.48 I can re-share it out for folks here (via PMs only)

Hi,
if someone has the T27.48, it would be great to get a link via PM for download.

Finally went up to T27.46 and I forgot how much of a wonky disaster the updates are lol.
I lost my ability to set temperature and use my OEM sidesteps
I also lost the outside air temperature.
Good thing I wasn't planning on driving anywhere today. Might want to do a factory reset too since the radios seem to love it when you do that.
Surprised I didn't see these pictures from anyone else though

I see that air intake temp came back into pro pages but not on the widget. I know some people messaged me about it before as it got removed on an older update.
I also had to change my time back to 12 hours, but everything else seems to get normal after a few hours (as we always expect)

Update on my yesterday's post.

I have version T27.48 as well now. It's also visual a bit different, especially as I'm coming from S23.15

In the license information I still see that it uses Android 8, 9 and 10 and no newer versions. As the actual current Android version is 13.
I just checked my truck, it is a 5-2023 build I have 26.3.0.

Do I simply wait for an OTA update? Dealer who sold it to me new last month said he can‘t do anything re. updates on maps.

so bizar that every dealer or shop seems to have different excuses...My dealer did it and I assume he used an usb stick for it ( I didn't see the update process)

I scheduled a ram cares oil change for my 23 limited and when doing it the service rep said "Oh you are due a software update, should we do that as well?" I was surprised and said yup, since it is still running the same version as it was when I got it a year ago.

I will plan on doing that then. Will be taking it in within a couple months for its' first oil change.

Since I'm old school and killing the planet is my specialty, the 1st oil change will be at 3K miles.

Hey all. My dealer updated my radio about a week ago and I'm now running this newest update. Seems like the bass is much less when listening to music. I had disconnected the factory sub in my HK system due to it just being too much. With it disconnected I'd run the bass about +2 or +3 in the audio settings. But now with the bass all the way up in the settings, it seems pretty weak. So much so that I'm thinking maybe trying the factory sub again. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that behavior after the update?

I am on 27.46 and my vin says no updates available but I am still trying to find out why I do not have a gauges widget available? Also what does the Performance values reset do under the settings/reset menu?

Wow. My truck has 25.48 on it. It’s a 2023 built late 2022. So from reading this thread it sounds like I need to ask my dealer to update my software? I’m connected to my home’s WiFi and it’s not getting me any update option.

Update: checked the FCA link someone shared on a previous page, put in my VIN, and it says my truck is up-to-date. Guess I’ll just leave it alone.

The website always says it's up to date. I haven't seen a single person enter their info and say it's not up to date.

Current is T27.46
T25.48 had tons of problems (mainly for 2022s)

That said are you having problems?
There is 0 reason to update if your truck is working properly.

CarPlay wireless connecting is hit or miss as it seems to be for a lot of folks. Sometimes the bottom menus get white artifacts or the buttons turn white. And it’s a crapshoot as to what screen comes up on startup. Sometimes it’s the vehicle tab. Sometimes it’s my home screen. But the system pretty much works. I just like to be as up to date as possible.

You can turn off the wifi as it doesn't really do anything. Navigation maps are supposed to update over wifi but I don't think anyone has ever had this happen. I had it turned on for a month and nothing with a year old maps on my 2022 (a couple of updates had been available). I had to manually update the nav maps (it's not difficult at all though):
https://stellantis.navshop.com/#/downloads
Click brand "RAM"
Click model "RAM"
Click system "Uconnect 5"
Click North America "Download"
Latest maps is from June 2023.

The truck has a cell modem with a sim card and will do updates over the cellular connection. I guess we just need to wait until Sept 29 though.
😁
Thanks for this. I've got a 2023 RAM 1500 and it's not updated once. Huge file though... almost 18 GB!
