Looks like today the truck is not doing the shaking in slow reverse. Who knows but thats a good thing. Not sure why it did it yesterday but not complaining today.

So this is an issue with me with my 2011 F150 sc Ecoboost long box. Since it arrived it has a shaking and weird behavior when you first start it and back up. It doesn't really want to stop and it rattles. Then when you now hit the breaks the steering wheel shakes. Now I have asked and had Ford look at it over the years and always "gee, don't know". Can't reproduce etc. Well along the way another dealership found the rear drum brake pad was loose. That helped. Then I talked to someone who understands wheels and tires etc and they asked if I changed out for winter tires. Yes. Then be sure they torque the wheels exactly to standards or you get the wobble and shake. Another facility advised me the reverse problem they felt was due to a defective vacuum pump. Point is there are a lot of things that can lead to the same symptoms so press them. As soon as I get my new RAM up and running I am going to take my Ford to the dealership and have a little eye to eye.

Hi Wakesnowb,
We understand why this may be concerning and we're glad to hear that it seems to have stopped. Please send us a private message if this continues to happen as we would like to have this documented for further handling.

Mine does the same thing too. It shakes at very low speed and back up. I’m going to bring it to the dealer.

Hi DM-SC,
We suggest having your dealer look into this if it continues to happen. You may also send us a private message if you would like any assistance during that process.

I'm seeing my dealer about this tomorrow, I will update you if you would like. They seemed on top of it though!

Yes, please do! It’s something that’s driving me nuts when sitting in traffic. I’d love to find someone that gets it fixed. Hopefully the complete rear brake changeout per the TSB will fix it.

Same, went to 2 dealers. First one was a joke and the second at least looked. They confirmed the noise, inspected my truck, said its normal and I said ok. Luckily @RamCares has my back and we are messaging behind the scenes.

Anyone get this resolved? I’m in the process now of trying to lemon law mine...arbitration hearing was on 6/25. This is just one of many problems I’ve had with my truck. Build date was June 18. They’re replacing my starter too, to see if it fixes the louse clank on startup. Also, they’ve completely replaced my brakes including the rotors. We’ll see what happens!
