The trucks have basically a 60/40 split for weight empty.
So the REBEL will have 3343 on the front axle and 2229 on the rear.
My truck would be 4201 front and 2801 rear.
With my last weigh slip I can see how the weight of us, our stuff and our trailer add up.
Front 179 lbs and rear 2239lbs.
So this is 2418lbs added to the truck. This is our family of 4...wood for the weekend. My toolbox and tools...and the stuff under the rear seat of the truck.
So...easy to see why...even with a 5700lb trailer...the 1500 is not going to work for us.
Well, I finally made the decision to leave the 2018 and older RAM club and made a decision on a 22. I really, really wanted to try to make a 1500 work.
After years of research. After watching people pull much more than they should. Seeing time and again how capable the RAM 1500 has become...
I had to stay with the HeftyDuty!
I am anxious to follow along with these new Hurricane powered RAM light duty trucks.
And, the red RAM does give a nod to.... Tornadoes!!!!!
