Spent the last few weeks in Montana. We hit Bozeman, Helena, and Glacier NP.

I'll probably do a picture dump of Glacier later, but I'll say it was the best trip we've ever taken and will be on our annual list from now on.

Nice! Im guessing the full time living made the camper feel small kinda quick?
It did.

It was doable, but we plan to do this full time for at least a few years, and climbing over each other and waiting for each other to move to do anything was getting old.

We loved the Horizon, so this was an easy decision.

Will be heading to get some weights tomorrow. I think we're going to stick with the current truck, but going up to a SRW 3500 has crossed my mind. ;)

I’m curious to see the numbers, hopefully it doesn’t require a 1 tom kind of upgrade🤣
They’re getting crazy money for those things right now, a decent Laramie Cummins srw is up over 90K🤯

Shouldn't require one. Would be a want, not a need.

If anything, should just need to dial in the WDH and balance the cargo. If I have to, I have some extra stuff I could drop as well.

Got it on the scale. Same as last time, I wanted to see what we'd be looking at worst case. Full tanks, loaded the truck down, etc. Truck is too heavy, so will be moving some cargo (firewood, tools, generate, fire pit, etc.).

Truck and trailer, no WDH:

Nice job adjusting the hitch and giving us the numbers! Do you have any air bags, etc, on your truck?

(y)

Nothing extra on the truck. Suspension, powertrain, and tires are all stock.

I may look at adding a Hellwig sway bar and new tires as those are mods I'd want to make anyway.

How is the squat with the WDH dialed in? Any need for some airbags in the back?

Still some squat with the truck loaded down and full tanks in the trailer. Spent this afternoon moving cargo around. We're staying at a winery this weekend and will have full water, but empty holding tanks on the way there. Going to hit the scales again, and will get some before/after pictures and heights.

I don't think I'll end up needing bags, but the Rockies could always change my mind.

Took some measurements and grabbed a picture to show how much the rear is squatting. Not the most level site I've been in, but good enough to start. I have some work to do.
