Hehe I appreciate the additional complications. I was looking at the iDrive but decided to dismiss it because that was the other one I was thinking about that's made in China. I'm waiting for LaunchPad to email me back as well as a couple others. I know I don't want any Chinese crap lol. So I narrowed my list to...There's also the iDrive. Not sure if anyone else is running one of those, but I have one in my Ram and one in my Jeep. Although I have not compared the iDrive to other devices, I'm happy with it. It has several modes including stock, automatic (which responds based on how you drive), eco mode, and "ultimate" mode which is a performance mode. Functionality is very similar to other units. Both eco mode and ultimate mode have 10 levels. I really like the ability to fine tune throttle response for various scenarios. I tend to use Ultimate level 2-3 for usual driving, Ultimate level 6-7 for spirited driving, Eco levels 3-5 for towing or hauling, Eco level 2-3 for offroading, and Eco 3-4 for highway driving. I like the appearance, too - it is small and clean.

That's too bad....I've seen some great products that have been made in Australia. Hell...even their firearms are great. Lol. Unfortunately I've learned the hard way to not trust Chinese made electrical auto parts
Off topic I know, but how do you like the Mopar Ram Air? Equipping my truck with this is one of the few things left to do with the truck before I'd consider myself being done throwing money at it. Hahaha
I have heard from a lot of people that the Ram air does help throttle response but I could never justify paying the price. For that price I could get a throttle controller, S&B intake and maybe even a nice Magnaflow muffler replacement lol.My personal opinion is the RamAir looks cool when I open the hood (which is not often). I also think it is very expensive for an air intake. Further, I have no idea if it adds any throttle response or horsepower. There are a number of threads in here in which many folks have voiced their strong opinions, technical data, analyses, and comparisons between cold air intakes and forced air intakes (which is what I believe the RamAir is rather than actually a CAI). To answer your question without verbosity, I like it because it is what it is and not for what I think it does for my Ram or for better fuel milage. That is probably not the answer you were looking for, but if you want to see some very heated discussions with opinions on performance, etc., search for RamAir Cold Air Intake and you will find a plethora of folks' thoughts on this particular subject.

I like Banks products, but they mostly support diesel power. I'll have to take a look at that video when I get home. I can't watch them from work. I still need to buy a pedal controller for our Limited.I think I'm going with the Banks Pedal Monster....here's why...

Yes they seem very popular with Diesel owners. I like the idea of the Pedal Monster because it is the only throttle Control that uses power from the OBD port AND has the most safety features out of all of them.
I don't find it condescending, I'd say based on how it's written maybe they're just not very good at writing.
