Tazer DT Amber DRL Settings Help

Hello,

Can someone post their Tazer DT Amber DRL settings?

I have DRL turned off on my uconnect settings, but all I get is the white LED straps above and below the headlights.

What settings should I have enabled on my tazer DT to make the top row Amber?

Current settings on tazer DT:

DRLType: USA
DRL loc: Turn
DRL Drop: NO

The LEDs you have on are called the halos
There’s is a tazer setting to disable Halos if that’s what you want to do

If I disable the halo's will the ambers show in place of them?

The DRL has nothing to do with the upper/lower accent lights. The Tazer is just reassigning the DRL light (stock is the headlight running lower power) so if you've already reassigned DRL to the turn signal, then recheck the DRL box in Uconnect to activate them and see if they're on.

don’t have the led package. I really like the orange lights on the head lights. It has a mean glow to it. Can I run those as my day time running light if I got a tazer?

Your settings are correct
Amber will only show when truck is in gear and drl is turned on in uconnect
Soon as you put truck in park they will revert to white.


Thats how it works on mine

You need to have DRL set to ON in your Uconnect settings for it to work.
If DRL is set to OFF in Uconnect then only the halos will be on

I have Limited 22 Australian Conversion

The truck had no DRL activated only when lights are on the the white straps top and bottom of light are on and when lights are off there is no LED drl

I have changed the settings to
DRLType: USA
DRL loc: Turn
DRL Drop: yes

And now I only get the top strip of led light up not the bottom? What can I change to get both LED strips to light up? And also how can I get them to turn the white led not amber?

Do you have both upper and lower lighting up? I set mine to turn both and only seem to have the lower on

There is no upper amber. I believe only TRX has those.

Only the lower amber will be on.

Also if I don’t disable the halo’s the amber lights will not turn on even if activated.

I only have Amber lights up top, bottom is white (I disabled them via signature lighting)

Premium Lighting Group. Amber lights are only bottom (turn signals). Signature (halo’s) are top/bottom. I have those turned off during the day. Only amber on for DRL’s.

This part turns yellow (turn signal)





Halo’s only at remote start. (when activated without amber) Unfortunately they dim after turning to run mode. I would prefer these for DRL’s but not option to keep them bright.


Obviously there must be different configurations depending what model or lighting group you have. Being the Premium Lighting Group surprised they’re not the same as a Limited.
