Can you post the link for front camera setup please
Thanks
Actually you can probably use the Jl camera setup zauto sells the installation procedure won’t work as it’s a different car but the pin out for harness should be the same. I can confirm later. Camera should work and it should come with the rca connector to add to the radio. And then use a tazer to add the cargo cam feature to the radio

Does anyone know what these inputs are for:

Also, Does anyone know if the wires are already there for the CVPM (with trucks with no 360). What is the port on the right side is for (one with hump).

The cables for the camera inputs are sold separately so you don't need to change harness.
to get the birds eye view you also require the door modules.
I wonder if you only add the mirrors with camera, add a front camera and hook them to CVPM.
You will not have a lot of other features like opening the doors, etc. But theoretically can get the birds eye view

this is what i have been trying to do, i have the tazer dt and i have the cargo camera input unlocked but i have not been able to find where to input the front camera into the radio. This is the easiest possible way to add the front camera, I just have not been able to figure it out yet. IF you come up with anymore ideas, or find out if the jl setup will work please let me know

I believe the OEM front camera goes into a camera junction box and is not rca.

I am fairly positive that video in this trucks in digital and not analog. So RCAs would not work.

You need the image module to connect it the 12 inch system.
Activation is another challenge. So far no one has been able to activate the camera. Dealers will not do it

for non surround equipped cars the camera plugs into the radio. However yes it’s not an rca it uses a 4 pin round coax cable.

. Not digital but not rca oem either. No oem uses rcas.

. I can do it. For locals FYI that box has an output that goes to the radio to the input that the non equipped cars use for backup camera. And then that box does all the work. And through can network the radio displays options for cam choice. The radio still only receives one video input.

According to diagrams. Chmsl with non surround equipped vehicles uses pin 22 for ground and 21 for signal on the radios large harness. To interface use an rca cable with the correct pins in the harness and it should work. Another chart shows pin 32 ground 31 signal. I don’t have a non equipped system so those inputs are 100 percent disabled for me.

Pretty sure it’s digital. My inside source at PAC has told me something along those lines and it’s making it very difficult to interface into, you won’t be able to splice RCA into it.

I recently went from an 8.4 non nav to a 12" while doing this I also used alfaobd and enabled 360 view. I had to make the wiring for the CVPM 4 wires total 2 CAN bus and 2 power. The coax cable was a pain to run for all the cameras but it can be done. I used generic fakra cables from amazon and modified them to work. AlfaOBD can make the changes to the BCM and also calibrate the display of the 360 cameras. Before and after calibrating the view. IMG_0212.jpg

This is awesome. Glad to see it can be done.
How much did this set you back, not counting labor?

Did your truck with 8.4 already had the 360 option/cameras to start with?
If not - please provide details on "How To"

thanks

So,
Looks like to add front camera one needs:
"Module--forward facing camera 68318033AF $394
"Module - forward facing 68320948AL $1136
Not sure what else is needed, cables/wires?
cant find much info about the whole PCKG
Hi. I have the same problem. I imported my 2019 ram 1500 limited into Australia and had it converted to right hand drive. I was unaware that I would loose power folding and 360 deg camera with the tow mirrors. Did you have any success with the retro install. I was also wondering if the tow mirrors on the new 2500 would fit

Any chance you can provide a parts list to add the surround view camera and a write up about adding the front camera housing, where you ran the cables in the engine bay, how you added the mirror camera cables through the door jam up to the mirror connection?
I have all of the components except for the CVPM and fakra cables--hoping you can share some more details, there are alot of us wanting to do try to do this but want to make sure that we have everything in order before doing it. Thanks in advance for any additional info you can share.

I think it’s on the passenger side of the dash. If you open the door there’s a small panel on the end of the dash that you pop off to get to it.
Do you happen to have pictures of the cvpm behind the passengers kick panel? Im looking to see where the power harness comes from. I see your truck has the 360 surround view option. if you can get some pictures of that area fo me that would be awesome.
