@bronco44 bought his from a dealership near mine, and his was built nine days after mine. I'm waiting to see if his ships before mine. If it does, then I'll know my truck isn't coming. I'm optimistic they'll ship together.
It's been less than 4 weeks since your truck "shipped" - it's not uncommon at all for it to still be en route. Have you asked your dealer for a print-out of the shipping legs? They can see exactly where it checked in last.

I probably would place another order right now except the dealer has a $2,500 deposit. There's a Rebel in NJ that isn't EXACTLY what I want, but it's pretty close. I'm tempted to dispute the deposit charge with the bank since I didn't actually get the truck and then get the one in NJ.

Be careful with this. You can usually only dispute a credit card charge for 60 days.

What do you mean by shipped? Do you mean released and invoiced? The tracker says "Vehicle Built" and "Shipped: TBD" and "Estimated Delivery: TBD." The salesman said earlier this week that he hadn't gotten a status update in his system. To my knowledge, it hasn't shipped. It's also still KZ in @triple_B's tracker

Ask them to look it up in RubiconVLS. They'll be able to see something like this, that will show exactly where it is.

Have him send you a screen shot of the dealer connect page. Him just saying he has no update isn't good enough.

Mine was built 11 days after you and shipped a week following build. Mine's headed to Koons and was in Jessup, MD as of 3/3.

That is very interesting since I also ordered from Koons and mine was built on 2/19. So 2 days before yours but mine somehow missed the train that yours caught on 2/28.
I asked for an updated Dealer Connect on Monday (3/6) and the last event I have is "Bay Location Updated for Vehicle Shipment" on 3/5 at 9:30AM. Plus my truck is in status "KZLD" which apparently means "Released Not Shipped -- Delayed".

@LetsGoBrandon24 - a few things to consider regarding your deposit refund.
1. Like you, my 1st order was back in Aug/Sept - I was able to get my deposit back because they didn't deliver me the truck when decided to walk away back in Jan. I thought I would have to threaten with a negative review but they said no problem and refunded without issue. They kept my order going and that truck eventually came in near the end of Feb but by then...
2. I'd already placed a 2nd order with a new dealer in Jan. That order has already been built and in shipment now. When I placed that 2nd order the new dealer also said the deposit was refundable if they couldn't delivery the truck by time I wanted it.
3. Don't overlook the power of social media: if you want that deposit back, threaten a negative review on multiple sites and maybe even a youtube vid about your issues (I'll get it would get a lot of views). That should get your deposit back because, let's face it, you do NOT have a truck yet!

Finally, have you considered that Ministry of Truth powers that be are not fond of your screenname and therefore are censoring your truck to mess with you? :ROFLMAO: Perhaps we'll one day see a previously hidden video that mysteriously emerges and shows your truck casually roaming the halls of the capital and being happily escorted around by capital police? Maybe that's why your truck as been 'held' so long without explanation?

But in all seriousness, I'm sorry this has happened to you and we're praying that your truck will be delivered and all the negatives will be forgotten because you'll be so happy with your awesome new ride. Hang in there, my friend. (y)

All good ideas, and glad to see you're getting yours so quickly! LOL - yes, it's crossed my mind. But then I see your "#FJB Edition" and "MAGA HEMI" was built and shipped quickly 🤣

I'm almost with @LetsGoBrandon24 ...how can my truck be on a dealer website with a stock number and yet not be at the dealer?
This has come up a few times in the past - the answers from the dealers were something along the lines of, "as soon as it is invoiced, we automatically list it on our website."

My current frustration is that someone has to be blowing smoke up my ***. If Ram actually shipped my truck by rail to Toledo last week and direct trucked to the dealer early this week, as Ram HQ told my dealer it was trying to do, you would think the tracker would have updated to shipped, the dealer would have said something, and it would be arriving this week. It doesn't take a truck four days to drive from Toledo to Virginia.

You're assuming that it is constantly on the move. Many (most?) trucks can get stuck waiting in a transfer facility for days or weeks - until someone gets around to loading it onto the next leg.

Ah - I assumed "trucked direct" meant the truck just left Toledo and drove straight to VA. I know next to nothing about the logistics aspect of this. I asked the salesman for a report (I still expect that report will show it's sitting around in MI since the tracker indicates it hasn't shipped).

I don't know the specifics of your shipping, I'm just speaking generically. Most trucks go something like this (after receiving a window sticker):
  • Sit at SHAP waiting for a shuttle to the rail yard
  • Finally get trucked to the rail yard, then sit in the rail yard waiting to get loaded onto a train
  • Transfer trains once or twice, each time sitting for a period waiting to be loaded (hope they don't lose the key fob - it has happened)
  • Finally arrive at destination rail yard, get unloaded, then wait for a shuttle to the dealer
  • Finally get delivered to dealer
If yours is "trucked direct", then obviously there are less interim stops.

Does anybody's Tracker page ever update to say Delivered at any point after the Tracker says Shipped?

Mine showed up April 2022....by Pizza Tracker shows:
Shipping: TBD
Est. Delivery: TBD

All of you whining about the Pizza Tracker not updating, or not being correct....contact your dealer. Yes, they do have the answer as to where your vehicle is in the process. If they tell you they don't know, they are full of sh?t and not doing their job*.

(*) Of course there is always someone that doesn't fit into the normal mold.

The tracker ends as soon as it leaves the factory. Dealer connect will track after that.
