Yep, same as the 19 did! Dealer says it’s normal for a full size truck. That’s crap as I’ve had 4 other full sized Silverados with 30,000 + miles that had less wear then these did at 5,000 miles. Then I was told it’s my driving habits, I’m sure If anything as I get older my driving is better and less aggressive Lots of lies and excuses! Then im told the tires are too soft for a ram and they just put them on for a good test drive. Same tires used in 19 as the 21, same unresolved issues in 2021 as in October of 18 when the redesigned ram came out

I feel my vibrations is like a overhear situation it’s always running higher than it should at lower speeds. If I drop it then it goes away but it comes right back.
also ECO mode is great it therory but if they work like Honda VCM systems then we are in for a crazy repairs in the future.

I just ordered 2022 Ram Laramie sport with off road package.This is the first Ram I have purchased as I have owned Silverados and Sierras for the past 35 years. The last two Silverados I had (2016 & 2019)were plagued with issues like Transmission clunking jerking , axle noise, no start,and the "Chevy Shake" just to mention a few of the issues. No service from GM either. This post makes me a little nervous but I have to try a Ram. I hope for no vibrations.

Vibration on smooth surfaces over 55 mph. Dealer tells me nothing wrong with it. Vibration is more in the seat, pedals and whole truck, not so much the wheel, but I can feel it in the wheel sometimes too.

I am amazed at how many posts are on here for this. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited with the same issue. Tire were balanced 8 times in first month. Most surprising aspect of this thread are the comments made by someone from RamCare. I was in touch with RamCare the entire time I was having the issues. After 8 balances, I my RamCare rep told me that tires were not covered and I would have to purchase my own replacements. I told him that this was not a maintenance issue and the tires that came with my $70k truck were defective. He was adament that this is not Rams issue. Finally, the dealership stepped up to replace the tires, but the problem remains. This is my last Ram after the way RamCare treated me. The irony is that my truck is used as a support vehicle for 5 classic mopars I take on the Hot Rod Power Tour each year. You bet I will be happy to share this story when people ask why I drive a Ford or GM to support a fleet of Mopars. Love the truck other than the vibration, but WILL NOT support a company that treats people like this any more.

Not sure where I should post this. Anyhow i recently purchased a 2022 Ram 1500 laramie GT with 22k miles. I noticed a vibration when I left the dealers and called then and they said " maybe from sitting a few weeks" I went about my way and drove 3 hrs to my house. The vibration never went away. I could feel most of it under my seat and also felt like the truck was hopping a little. the dealer came got the truck and said that they put wheels off a new truck on it to test it and they felt no vibration. They then installed 4 new tires on my wheels and brought it back. I was not able to drive it when they brought it to my house that day but afterwards I noticed the vibration still there. Went to 3 local dealers one actually took time to go through it and found that the Drive shaft was making noise so they replaced it and road force ballance the tires. No luck vibration still there. I found that the left rear axle was replaced at the dealer that I bought it from and questioned them , and I was told that it was replace because of to much end play. The selling Dealer has offered to give me my money back but my trade in was sold ( a 2023 pacifica hybrid ) but I told them thaty i would like it fixed so they are still working with me along with the local dealers but I am at my end. I have Ram care involved but nothing has happened but phone calls. I have had 5 gen 5 trucks, since 2019 rebels and laramie with 0 Issue and I tell the dealers the vibration is not normal but a couple locals are trying to say it is. Anyhow sorry for the long post it's been crazy with this truck. Does anybody have any ideas. Please keep in mind I am a retired mechanic and far from being stupid but this one has me at a loss. My plan was to put my TRX wheels on it along with Bilstein 2" level 6112 front and 5100 back. But I do not want to do that until this problem is fixed. I am at the point of just giving the truck back. I owe nothing Thank you

Did they verify runout of the rim or hub? A shock or strut could also be bad since you mentioned hopping

Don't let it run on 4 cylinders. Use the gear selector on the steering wheel, press "-" then "+" until you see 8th gear

Vehicle: 2019 Ram 1500 Limited
Tires: Bridgestone Duelers 275/55R20

I bought my truck with 10 miles on it in July 2018 and brought it back 3 days later for the vibration. My vibration happens around 75mph and is constant. It feels like it is coming from the back of the truck. You can feel it in the seat but the steering wheel does not shake. However, if you have a water bottle in the cup holder, you can clearly see the vibration. I am in south Florida so the issue is unrelated to cold weather.
Since I purchased the truck, I've had it back to the dealer 3 times:
1st dealer visit: SA says they drove it at speed limit and "could not duplicate" issue. Total BS.
2nd dealer visit: They said the tires needed to be balanced and performed RFB on all tires. Also, adjusted the camber, caster, sterring and toe. Still have the issue.
3rd (independent tire shop) visit: The shop called me after an hour and said they feel the vibration but the balance and alignment is "perfect". Suggested it could be suspension or drive shaft and I should contact dealer. Come pick up vehicle, no charge.
4th dealer visit: Said two tires needed balancing. Took all weights off and re-balanced. The issue still remains but happens closer to 80mph now. SA not willing to go over 70mph on test drive.
At this point I'm mad. I'm going to replace the tires to see if that fixes the issue, but after that I'm escalating through Dodge until I get it fixed. I used to love this truck but now I'm warning my friends to stay away.
Please post if you come up with a solution.

Thanks for the input , I'm thinking it may be a wheel The local service departments next step is to again install wheels off a new 1500 from the lot and see if that resolves the problem, but of course they want a diagnostic fee this time around. I was also thinking it could be a shock, or brand of tires but all I'm doing is guessing based off years of experience. I may just say hell with it and go ahead and throw my bilstein 6112's with a 2" level and my trx wheels with new 295/70 18 nitto tires and see what happens

I have a 2019 that’s got the same stupid issue, so I decided to dig in a little little bit myself. I come from my mechanic background.

On my truck, the pinion angle is incorrect. There is a 4.5 degree disparity between transmission and pinion. This should be no more than 3 degrees MAX. This would explain why Chrysler does not want to fix the trucks. They do not make adjustable length control arms meaning they would have to put an aftermarket part on your truck to fix it. They’re not going to do that.

My new upper, adjustable control arms come in Friday. I’m sure I will be reporting back to you all that this solve the problem.

Installed the new upper control arms and set the pinion angle properly.
Vibration is GONE! Truck feels better, shifts smother, and truck is smooth as ice.

I have the same stupid vibration going on. I've had my tires road force balanced with no improvement. Do you mind posting a link to which adjustable uppers you bought. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by changing the pinion angle?? Is your truck lifted?

I am by no means trying to sell Michelins just telling the story.

Funny about the Michelins. I just spent a fortune on Michelin Defenders to replace my Duellers and I now have the bad vibration problem which begins around 74/75mph. The Duellers had no noticeable vibration and I had them up to the low 90s very often. I've had the new Michelins balanced 5 times at the tire shop then brought to another repair shop for a 6th balancing and nothing has changed. The tire shop i purchased the Michelins from rotated several times and swapped front to back as well with no change. Im baffled. I'm thinking I should have stuck with Duellers.

I bought a new 2019 Ram Laramie sport in 2019. It came with Bridgestone's. Had a slight vibration in it to the point it felt like a tire was slightly out of balance since the day I drove it home when it came in. Was worse around 63 to 70 Mph one dealer I bought it from told me it was fine they saw no issue or felt no issues!.....Then once on freeways up around 80 to 85 is would have slight vibration a little worse like out of balance. Went to another dealer where I had bought a new Scat Pack Charger in 2018 with that Dealer having the Truck forced balance done two different times reduced the vibration but never totally went away. I just got really tired of it and bought 4 new Michelin tires for the truck. As they were mounting my new tires guy came out said how many miles you have on your truck? I said 26000 he said wow you have a bent rim that has a bunch of wheel weights on it and still out of balance before he removed the weights!. He had me come back and look at the rim on the balance spinning with no tire on it at high speed. I told him it had been like that since new! He said they will say you did it! I bought 4 after market rims put 4 new Michelins on the new rims and truck is very smooth like should have been when I bought it! Cannot believe Ram truck 60 Grand came with a BENT RIM! It sure is nice now! Just wanted to pass it along to all others.

Which wheels are these. I've been told my rims are bent as well. They took tires off to show me. I'm now at 137,000 miles and 5th set of tires with this terrible vibration. Very frustrated customer.
