Running Boards/Step Rails for the 2019s

Finally got around to hanging the RB20’s. It’s too cold here to wash the truck until this weekend but after a couple days of use I’m extremely pleased with them. Had minimal issues with the extra paint on the bolts just two needed cleaned up with a die, although I’ve heard warnings against it.

The rb20’s have a little flare toward the front so they are wider in the fro t than the back. I love the high and tight look and the step is perfect height for the rebel. The brackets don’t hang any lower than the skid plates. The only thing that feels like a negative is the flared front. To me, the look a little fat up front and I haven’t yet felt like that is necessary due to the body style or needing extra purchase.

Overall, I’m happy.

AMP Power boards

BIG thanks to @Shaun.TFO - I got my boards in from him fast and I installed them two days ago..... LOVE them! Now I need to let the factor boards go. or dumb in the trash I love these boards by AMP, I have a set on my wifes Jeep! Makes life easier and the look sharp when folded up.... but that's just my 2 cents

Shaun got them out to me so fast, great working with you!.... I will be in touch for a few more mods!

Those blue lights on the AMP powerstep do look good. I imagine they would look incredible with a patriot blue or blue streak RAM also.

Anyone out there have the Westin Pro Traxx 5 Wheel to Wheel Oval bars? How do you like em? They have that classic look that I think I like and the stainless steel would look nice with the imitation chrome bumpers on my future Laramie. Any thoughts on the 5" vs. the 4"?

Does anyone know where I can order the black matte Mopar steps (82215301AC) online?

All the mopar-esque sites that carry the part are all over the place in terms of actual availability, cost and the cost of shipping.

The only place I've been able to find with verified stock wants $450 for the boards + $200 for shipping.

If not - what aftermarket steps does everyone believe are closest in appearance/design to them?

It is a personal choice. For me, although I like the factory retractable running boards, I physically like the look of the non retracting step better. I think it compliments the wheels also if the colors match. Aside from looks, I think the non retracting running boards will protect the vehicle better (doors or shopping carts might hit the step before the door) and also when rocks get flung up from the tires hopefully they will hit the running board before the vehicle paint. Also the retractable running boards although presumably are very reliable, they are another thing that could break. That being said, I do like the retractable running boards A LOT but I just like the non power steps better personally.

I made a huge album of what I saw here on 5thGen; but I went with the GoRhino Dominator D6; I'd only seen them on Jeeps and Tacomas but really liked the high/tight/rock slider look.

I got a set from Friendship Ram in Bristol Tn for $420 with a Mopar Coupon...call 423 764 0161 & ask for. Josh Smith, he had several sets in stock and can give you a price quote with shipping.

Boards that don’t fold up will protect your rear fenders too. There’s a lot of folks with really bad damage on their rear fender flares from rocks and cinders kicking back and chipping the paint on gravel roads and winter treatments. Some guys are posting trucks a few weeks old showing major chipping and damage.

Nice, they look sharp. I though maybe my rb20’s were a bit wide but after the last couple of ice storms I’m feeling better about my choice. Really like the clean lines on yours though. Might have got those had i seen them when I was ordering.

I also wanted high and tight fitment and ordered the rb20’s in powder coat finish from go rhino. Searched a bunch of options and felt they fit the bill best for me. They are back ordered, customer service says they’ll go out next week.

Went to my local Line-X dealer for my bedliner quote, and they actually used a regional distributor for all accessories. He checked, they had them in stock, could have them in 2 days, and beat GoRhino's retail price. Cancelled my order with GoRhino, picked up my boards from the Line-X dealer 2 days later. Worth looking into if you're still waiting. Installing mine this weekend, provided the weather cooperates!

Are those the standard powersteps? or the XL? Your truck appears lifted and they hang pretty low. I'd be worried about how low those sit if they are the standard steps on a stock height truck.
