Dixit,
Thanks for your pictures. That at least gives me a start.

That TT value I’m fairly confident is the serial number. The part numbers are the ones that end in two letters like AA, AB, AC, etc.

Does anyone know how to find out if the ecodiesel uses the same 33 gallon tank as the gassers? All the cross reference to models show 3.6 or 5.7.

Hmmm... doesn't have 2020 listed out next to this one. I am looking for a used/salvage tank, but all I am finding is 2019 model.

68408875AD. Check that one. FCA notorious for making an insane number of part numbers for literally same part.

I’ll need to go check an ecodiesel with a 33 gallon tank at a dealer. There isn’t much room between my current rank and the DEF tank. I don’t have a 3rd bracket like others here are talking about, but maybe the ecodiesel doesn’t utilize that for the 33 gallon unit

I finally got my third tank strap on. A friend of mine is an awesome fabricator did it for me. He fabricated up a mounting bracket that went over the top of the frame rail. He was able to weld it without dropping the tank, but did remove the in floor cooler to gain access. I used the factory strap and it bolted up perfectly. Unfortunately this isn’t a DIY job to do. Here’s a few pics

Rammit - that came out pretty good. Did your friend that fabricated the mount have drawings/measurements available in case we wanted to replicate that? Or, would you friend be willing to make the mount itself for a fee and then it could be shipped and welded by someone locally?

I will ask and see if that is something he would be willing to do. That’s not a bad idea. If not, I can always make up a drawing to share.

Hmmm... looking at the factory diagram for the 33 gallon tank, it only shows provisions for two straps. If you look at the diagram that shows all the parts that go with the 33 gallon tank, it only shows 2 straps... and it looks like there are only two locations on the tank to accommodate straps, if I'm looking at it correctly. I suppose they could have the wrong image for the part number ... but it looks the same everywhere I look for it.

Those images are not of a 33gal. It’s a 26. 33gal is much longer at the short end. Their parts diagram images have been wrong. If you search up the strap itself you will see the 3rd strap.

Figures... seems like they'd get the images updated properly.
It's difficult to get a shot of the 33 gal. OEM installation without being on a lift but here is a shot under my 19 Laramie 33 gal tank from the front quarter. It makes the distance between the 2nd and 3rd strap look longer that it is but is still quite a distance.

My tank measures about 6 ft long with the distance from the rear of the tank and the second brace about 3'3". That leaves about 2'9" unsupported. It in the shallower part of the tank but there's a fair bit of weight there. I'll let you folks decide if you want to install the brace.

Secondly, if the 23 pump works with the 33 tank and it's not reprogrammed, I'll bet you'll get fantastic mileage as the tanks appear to be about the depth at the pump so it will think the fuel is just going down at a slower rate than before.
