Rebel GT Exhaust question

I bought 68517364AA only since 68517365AA was on the truck already.
G/T Exhaust Muffler and Driver Resonator - Mopar 68517364AA MSRP: $990.00
through MoparFactoryParts.com the sale price: $646.37
MoparFactoryParts.com is local to me (All Star Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Bridgeton, MO) so shipping was $1.00
Tax: $58.18
Total: $705.55
Oh ok , nice ! I have a BH so im not even gonna look to see if i have one side Lol . I found a dealer about 30m from me i can get it for 943. Otd

Check your resonators to see if they have C-9048-L or C-9048-R embossed on them.
If so you only need 68517364AA since you already have the G/T resonators like mine did.

I checked my dealers lot all the 2023 and 2024 RAM 1500 models had the C-9048-L and C-9048-R resonators with C-9367 muffler.
None of them had the G/T package so they use the quieter C-9367 muffler with the G/T resonators. BTW the G/T muffler is C-9396.

Ok thank you ! I will check tonight when i get home from work. That would be nice if i only one side it would save me some $

Mine are C -9304

Cool sounds good that it was smooth. You or anyone else got any input on if this would fit a quad cab?
I had the same issue as you. I ordered mine online because its 50m to the dealer where they had the part. I then got a order is canceled because it didnt fit with my vin# so i told him to order anyway.

I always give them a vin of the vehicle that I know the part is on. This will fit a quad cab and crew cab
the wheelbase difference in length is taken at the pipe (part #4 in the pic) that goes from the Y crossover pipe to the muffler flange.

Years ago I put Hemi dual exhaust on my 2014 RAM V6 regular cab. I found that the muffler on back is the same regardless of cab style.
The intermediate pipe from the Y to the muffler that makes up for the wheelbase difference.

These exhausts look indentical only off biy one # . What is different ?

Even though I had the G/T resonators from the factory the G/T muffler makes a big difference.
It's much throatier than the original muffler so internally the G/T baffles must be different.

Im still waiting on my R- resonator i have the exhaust installed except the passenger side i put the original stock one on for now until i get the other side. Sounds great coming out of drivers side sounds quieter coming out passenger lol

It would be interesting to see what those mufflers look like opened up.
Could be like the G/T resonators where the muffler internal piping doesn't have as many holes in it.

OK. Just read through this entire Thread. Think I lost some brain cells in the process. ;)
Sooo. I have a 2023 Big Horn. I know the GT exhaust will fit my truck. But I have some questions about the GT exhaust and the mid-pipe resonator. My 2023 truck does not have a mid-pipe resonator, only the resonators on the ends of the pipes. I assume that most of the trucks that have added the GT exhaust already have the factory mid-pipe resonator. My 2023 truck has the C-9408 (GT) resonators on the exhaust tips.

Do the factory GT trucks (even the 2023's) have a mid-pipe resonator?
Does the mid-pipe resonator make any difference on the GT exhaust? Has anyone added or removed the mid-pipe resonator on a GT exhaust and can speak to the difference in sound?
Does anyone happen to know the Mopar Part Number of the mid-pipe for a Crew Cab Short Bed, that does have the resonator?

You don't have a muffler between the cat and the two end pipe resonators?

This is the GT exhaust I put on my 2022. I’m assuming it’s exactly the same for 2023. All you need to do is add your tips to the resonators.

The stock exhaust looks exactly identical.

Of course I have a muffler there. But I don't have a resonator in front of the muffler.
Can you take a pic ? Here is my stock one and GT

My 2020 came with one, my mom's 2021 did not. I have heard of some 2021s having them though. Not sure how they decide what truck gets what exhaust piece, or if they just scrape up what's available at the time. Running the GT exhaust without the post-y resonator will make it louder/raspier, but to what extent I don't know. The fewer resonators the louder. The GT exhaust is significantly lighter than the plain jane, demonstrating just how much less material there is inside to muffle sound.

Now I'm curious about this setup, I tried looking on Mopar website for the mid pipe with out the resonator...would anyone have a part number?

EDIT: Well damn nevermind, just checked my truck and I also don't have the mid resonator, its just a straight pipe from cats to muffler.

If I recall correctly, most trucks after 2020 don't have that resonator in front of the muffler. If you are looking to add the full GT exhaust, it would be counterproductive to add that mid-pipe resonator. If you already have both GT resonators, you only need to factory GT muffler to complete the system, but the factory GT muffler comes with a GT resonator attached to the pipe.

Does anyone want a free stock 23 Rebel exhaust? Less than 100 miles of use. Local pickup.
