Rear Under-Seat Storage - Aftermarket Options

Can u snap a pic of the mounting when u get a chance? I'll bang one of these out next week with scrap wood I have laying around. Thanks!
Sure thing! There are already two holes in the seat bracket and holes in the shelving bracket so i did no drilling at all. Bought little baggies from home depot and used 1 each per side of; 8-32×3/4" long screw, lockwasher/split washer, and a wing nut. Inserted through factory holes with wing nut and split washer inside seat bracket. It was a little tricky to start but not bad. So only thing you see is the screw head and you can tighten the wing nut or take off any time very quickly!

I've been looking for a solution since I bought my Laramie in September knowing it wasn't optioned with storage. Talked to the parts dept this week when I was in for service and they were able to price it out for me. As the parts manager handed me the print out he shook his head and agreed that someone should be fired for charging customers $500 for some cheap plastic and hex bolts. But here it is for anyone interested...

Alright, this will go against the current on this thread but I actually want to REMOVE this contraption from my 2019! These parts need to come out to make room for my new Supercrewsound sub box. I can't figure out how to remove them. I can get half of the hinged piece (part #1 in the drawing) off by removing the hinges but I can't figure out how to get the other half and the side mounts off. Removing the side screws doesn't do it! Also, I can remove #3 in the drawing but not #4. All of these need to come off for my new sub box. Anyone have any insight on how to remove these? I will keep looking here on the forum...

With regards to the husky brand under seat storage box, when they are referring to with or without OEM storage box, are they referring to the 2 compartments on the floor or something else?

For all those interested I can confirm duha storage has an under the seat bin available for 2019 quad cabs. It’s not on the website yet so you’ll have to call and order it blind without seeing any pictures until they have enough to stock all their dealers first. They come in tan black and brown and are 200 plus free shipping. Ordered mine and will post pictures once it’s delivered and installed
Any updates???

Well, I got a little industrious this afternoon and resolved my under-seat storage issue for $9....yes, nine dollars!

If you have an accessible Home Depot, a utility knife (or preferably a Dremel tool), tape measure, a few screws and 45 minutes, you can build your storage as the pictures indicate below...they are removable in 3 minutes with only 2 small screws...

Before (no under-seat storage): :(

$9 plastic storage bin from Home Depot (this one is the right width):

Mark a line 7" down from the top lip and cut all the way around with a dremmel bit or utility knife, then cut the short ends of the bin in half as shown:

Fit the two pieces in the floorboard and cut the angles to fit the under-seat bump in the middle (this allows the frame to sit flat):

Flip over and screw the 2 pieces together in the middle for stability, then place in the truck, screw a flat head screw into the plastic cover on each end of the bench seat (the screws are silver in the photo), then tie the center back to the D ring that is under the rear seat to keep the frame in place (I used tie straps, but plan to use a small bungie once acquired).

This was too easy and more than serves my purposes as they will work with my WeatherTech floor mats that I'm ordering soon. :)

I hope this helps someone out there who didn't want to drop $180+ for storage.
RodRow, thank you for posting this. I was able to complete this in about 30 minutes and it fits perfectly with the Mopar all weather mats. It also looks like it is OEM.

I’m so glad it worked for you. I use mine daily and agree, it works perfectly with my MOPAR all weather mats too! I’m all about saving $$$$$ :)

Dude, that's a great idea! Looks like I'll be stopping by Home Depot on my way home.

Thanks man

It will be another week and change about til I get to installing it. Promise I’ll post immediately once I’ve done it
Installed yet? Really want to see this. Thinking about buying myself.

Here are 2 pics of the underseat storage, one open and the other folded closed, 2 different sizes/configurations
did you truck come with this storage or is that something you bought?

I have a Laramie Sport that didn't come with the under seat storage. I called my service / Parts dept. at my dealership and was told you can't get it by itself and that it only comes assembled with the entire backseat. Has anyone else been told this? Is it possible that it doesn't fit with the reclining backseats in the Laramie?

FYI, the Rear Under-seat Compartment Storage came as a factory $125 optional equipment on my 5th gen 2019 Laramie Sport with Level 1. And yes, it does work with the Laramie’s standard reclining rear seats.

I've been told the factory storage is a part of a different backseat assembly and cannot be added later.

That could be, as my Monroney only lists it under Optional Equipment, but does not address the seats themselves.

Just a reminder that there is a VERY cheap and easy DIY remedy for those wanting to use it at the link below. ;)

Mine also didn't have an storage :( but it would be nice to have something like this

Does anyone have a quad cab under seat storage bin yet???

I just installed the Duha storage in my quad cab. Remove 2 bolts to attach a bar that holds the unit in place. Very good fit. I installed on top of factory rubber floor mats without any problems.

Throw up some pictures for us please! Dying to see what this thing looks like before I buy!

Anyone need the Husky Underseat Storage Box for the Crew Cab? I have it in the Buy/Sell/Trade thread for only $100. Used about 2 months (literally 2 items in it at all times lol).
