According to the person I spoke with, it was not designed around factory slush mats and may not sit flush to floor with them. Add to to the report above where the in-floor boxes are hard to get at, this is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully another aftermarket company gives a little more thought to one. Otherwise, in the summer I'll make my own out of plywood and fiberglass and have it squirted with Line-X. I'm really missing this storage compared to my 2014. Bummer.

Got my husky today. Crew Cab Laramie rear seats still recline. I was worried when ordered. As you can see in the pic it does overlap floor mat retention rings. Don’t have my all weathers yet but I don’t think it’ll be an issue.

I will say I was kinda disappointed at the lack of under the seat storage under the back seat. I could stuff a body under the seat of my ‘04. But it did force me to pair things down and use the center console and glove boxes a little more then I would have normally.

I found these plastic bins at the Container store that fit perfect and have rubber feet.

I called Husky Liners yesterday. Informed them about the lack of fit with the OEM slush mats. Seemed it was news to the guy I was transferred to. I sent some pictures while we were talking and he agreed it was not a good fit. He indicated he'd run it up the chain to see if an alternate could be made., but told me what I already know - investment in forms, managing alternate part numbers, and everything I tell customers for my business when they need something custom. I said come to this forum for customer pull to make an alternative version that works with the factory slush mats!

I'm not sure if the answers for under rear seat storage was answered, but Husky Liners makes a great looking after-market, under seat storage (check out their website). I spoke to their head engineer (after getting the runaround from sales on availability dates) and he said the rear under seat storage for the 2019 Ram 1500 Hemi is not due out until the end of February or very close to that date. I love what I see and will be waiting for it's availability. PLEASE NOTE: the end of February date is for the Quad Cab (which is what I was asking about) but the underseat for the Crew Cab is due out earlier than that according to this engineer. Hope this helps.

Well, I got a little industrious this afternoon and resolved my under-seat storage issue for $9....yes, nine dollars!

If you have an accessible Home Depot, a utility knife (or preferably a Dremel tool), tape measure, a few screws and 45 minutes, you can build your storage as the pictures indicate below...they are removable in 3 minutes with only 2 small screws...

Before (no under-seat storage): :(
IMG_2167.jpeg
$9 plastic storage bin from Home Depot (this one is the right width):

Mark a line 7" down from the top lip and cut all the way around with a dremmel bit or utility knife, then cut the short ends of the bin in half as shown:
IMG_2169.jpeg IMG_2171.jpeg
Fit the two pieces in the floorboard and cut the angles to fit the under-seat bump in the middle (this allows the frame to sit flat):
IMG_2172.jpeg IMG_2173.jpeg
Flip over and screw the 2 pieces together in the middle for stability, then place in the truck, screw a flat head screw into the plastic cover on each end of the bench seat (the screws are silver in the photo), then tie the center back to the D ring that is under the rear seat to keep the frame in place (I used tie straps, but plan to use a small bungie once acquired).

Finished Product: :p

This was too easy and more than serves my purposes as they will work with my WeatherTech floor mats that I'm ordering soon. :)

I hope this helps someone out there who didn't want to drop $180+ for storage.

I have a Laramie Sport that didn't come with the under seat storage. I called my service / Parts dept. at my dealership and was told you can't get it by itself and that it only comes assembled with the entire backseat. Has anyone else been told this? Is it possible that it doesn't fit with the reclining backseats in the Laramie?
My Laramie has it and reclines as well its standard on all Laramie crew cabs. Cannot speak for other trim levels. I have the level 2 option.

Wow, this almost looks better than the factory version! I may have to try this, for $9, it's a throw away if I find something better. Great job!

And to think I was going to try to make something out of HDPE (which would have been expensive).

I have had no issues with it interfering with the rear floor storage. Just went on a road trip and the kids could to drinks with no issue.
