Ok so just over 1k miles on my 19 and since about the first week i am having something rattling in the back end. Sounds like its coming from behind the rear seat or the seat itself. Its is not the reclining seats. Anyone experience similar issues? This is my 2nd ram and I am not impressed with it at all. Ive got more rattles then I did my 13 Express and everything on that damn truck was plastic. I want to trade this thing already.

No I have not. Dealership I purchased it from is an hour away and I just dont have the time to take it in for a "rattle" and I have little faith that the dealership would know what it is or even how to fix it. I had to fight with my local ram dealership with my last ram over some issues it had as well but it was mechanical issues. I took a chance on another Ram and so far I am not impressed at all.

It was between this truck or a 18' Charger Daytona 392 and I wish I could go back in time and go for the charger. I feel id be much happier.

Seatbelts perhaps?

Mine is like a tomb, but when I picked it up from dealer on Monday, all the seatbelts were not on the top portion for some reason, so they were rattling around. Once I put them on the upper position where they go after unbuckling, the rattles went away (one of the repairs they did was swapping the center console lid that was squeaking when pressing with my arm). Back to being silent again

Its probably the rear window, there's been a couple threads about this. Turn your radio up loud, get in the back seat and push on the top of the sliding glass window. If that fixes it just put a little piece of foam inbetween the glass and plastic, worked for me.

Sorry to hear you have rattles. I do as well. Many times when I stop or start moving my dash makes noises. Also the panoramic sunroof headliner ticks and clicks. In addition, I have rattles coming from the right side of the vehicles.

This is totally unacceptable in a vehicle that has a window sticker price of $70,000.

I guess I’ll just live with the noises and rattles. Taking it to the dealer will only make things worse. Been there done that before.

Not sure if anyone has experienced this yet but I have a rattle coming from the alpine center speaker on the dash. Goes away when I push on it but I can’t get any foam under it without it being visible....any ideas or should I just take it into the dealer to get them to fix it since I have identified where it’s originating from? I hate going to the dealer normally for rattles and squeaks.

Does the speaker grill itseof rattle? Or does it rattle when the speaker is on playing music?

Great question and sorry for not being more clear, the speaker grill rattles when I drive over bumps in the road.

A couple of rattles I had to fix. One the rear window. So you might have that rattle. Two the tweeter grill. They are metal and sit in a metal surround. So I found one to be loose and fixed that. If you can move the grill easily then it needs to be secured

Thanks! Does the plastic dash speaker grill pop right off with a plastic trim/panel tool? Don’t want to break it but I figure it pops right out.

So, you can't trim some small pieces air conditioner foam and place it under the edge of the grill without it showing?

I had to shove some foam up underneath my panoramic sunroof headliner to keep it from ticking and clicking while just normally driving over smooth road.

I also have the rear window rattle. And I'm extra lucky enough to have a ripping sound in my dash intermittently upon stopping and starting. Apparently something flexes enough to sound like Velcro fastening and unfastening. Or else it sounds like a bolt rolling around. It almost sounds like it is coming from near the center speaker grill as well. My Longhorn has the HK system.

Possibly you could try to lift the edge of the grill up just enough to shove some foam there to put upward pressure on it and keep it from rattling, maybe do it on the windshield side...

I always had bad luck in the past taking a vehicle to the dealer to fix rattles. The mechanics knew less about how to fix the rattles than I did and damaged interior trim. I just figure out how to fix it myself now.

Hi Drewsky510,
I can imagine how frustrating this must be. Let us know if you decide to have your dealer look into this so we can help you with getting this addressed. Just send us a private message.

so mine sounds like when you have an empty small trailer hitched up. That's the kind of clanking sound I'm getting. Is this one way you guys would describe the sound you're talking about? it almost sounds like it's right below me but that it's on the outside on the underbelly

I have pretty much every noise that has been listed above. I still love this truck and hope the noise gets better when it warms up again in summer but honestly my 2012 ram was way quieter as far as interior clicks, ticks and rattles. Even my dealer tried to steer me away from having them try to RIP things apart looking for these noises. So I'm simply going to have to eliminate them one by one until its quiet again. That's why I'm subscribing to this post. Hopefully together, we can
Share different fixes we've found.

Funny. I have the same behind seat rattle. Seems to betting worse. I’ll check the rear window.

Noises that I eliminated in my truck...Very easy to do.
1 - Sunroof Velcro Clips. Pulled the headliner down...did not remove...slid the clips out of the headliner, padded the back...reinserted
2 - Folded rear seats forward. Unbolted Subwoofer...did not remove...padded behind mounting points, tightened back down
3 - While seat was folded forward...found loose module at the floor beneath center console against cab wall. Double sided taped it
4 - Rear window rattled...was wire inside the channel on passenger side vibrating...ran bead of black RTV in the channel
All rattles/vibrations eliminated. 30 min max to resolve all. NO DEALER to mess up my truck. Super Quiet for 4K miles. Love it.
Should it have been delivered quiet...of course...30 minutes to resolve all my issues, no 2 day frustrating unresolved dealer visit...Bonus
