RamBox warped and misaligned

I have a 2020 limited with the rambox and it is starting to warp on driver's side. I also notice a discoloration in the paint on the lid anybody else have that? Is there a fix for these yet or will I have to fight with the dealer still to have them replaced??

As is typical it will be a dealer fight...but you never know. Maybe @RamCares can help you.

Hi @CaroleDidit - If you are planning to move forward with your dealer on this, please be sure to follow up with us via private message. I would be more than happy to escalate a case on your behalf so a specialist can work alongside your dealer while your truck is in service!

PS - Thanks for the tag @Timeless!

Possible to put some PL Premium in there (or another adhesive) to keep them down?
Seems crazy but Shoe Goo is my go to for something like this. The stuff holds almost any type of material, lasts long. Seriously the strongest bonds I've ever seen.

YW...don't worry my Ram Boxes are also warping...so I'm sure I'll be in the same boat. (n)

I'm sorry to hear this, please be sure to let me know if you have to address them with your dealer!

Thank you for the reply, I will be in touch after I get the truck over to the dealer this week and see what they say.

I am about to order the truck I want. I really wanted the Ram Box but after seeing the years that this problem has gone on I think I will get a Chevy instead.

That’s really going to be the only reason you go to Chevy? Chevy doesn’t even have a comparable option. And this hasn’t been going on for “years.” Unfortunately, to save weight, Ram produced the lids out of plastic beginning in 2019. Which is the prime reason some are experiencing this issue.

No need for the all caps and bold lettering. You missed the main point of my post in that what do you gain by going to Chevy? They don't have anything like the Ram Box as far as bed storage. So if the issues with the Ram Box were truly the only reason for going to chevy, why not just get the regular bed...which is what you'd be getting anyway with the Chevy.

Anywho, welcome to the forum (I see this was your first post), and hope you enjoy your Chevy!

I have a new gaming keyboard that is a little smaller than I have used in decades. My big hands keep hitting the cap button along with the wrong letters. Just got tired of hitting the back button and retyping. Didn’t know you boys were so sensitive. Now I know. The bed is the only reason I was switching to Dodge instead of Chevy/GMC.
I just copied and pasted what was in the subject line on the other forum. That is why that part was like that.

I had a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with the rambox and never had a single issue with them. When operating them you could tell They were clearly better built on the 4th gen. The 5th gen ones feel cheap when closing and seem smaller inside. Wish they had not switched vendors...

Well, when a vendor goes out of business...
