I ordered the Revolver X4 yesterday, decided bed length won out over Retrax open/close action.

I think you’ll like it.

No issues at all with the RamBox doors. They open and close freely and stay open if left up.
The closure lever is smooth and has nicely rounded corners. Could you catch it and bend it? Probably. But, I think if you are aware it’s there you should be fine. In the second photo I circled the lever with the cover rolled back a bit.
I installed my Revolver
Ordered a BAK Revolver X4 from Morrie today. Looks like it will arrive before my truck. :)

I installed my cover yesterday and was pleased that I didn't have the issues others have had with the driver side rails. It took about an hour to install and still needs a little adjustment, I was racing the rain. Overall I'm very pleased with it and it looks great.

After dealing with Retrax... Im looking for another cover. Im looking at the MX4 and the Revolver. Can yall tell me how wide they are between the rails? Im thinking the space between the levers on the Revolver is pretty darn narrow... Also, is the electronic tailgate mechanism pretty reliable? What happens when that system breaks with the gate closed? Is there another way in to access the cover inside the tailgate?
Thanks

What is the material on top? Is it like a soft tonneau cover material? Do you live in a snow area? I am wondering what happens when 3=4 inches of snow falls on the revolver, how hard would it be to roll up?

Thanks!

I utilized the seals across the top to seal the area between the tailgate/bedcover and top edge of bed. No water gets through this area. Utilized the expanding seal down the side and then utilized the Access tailgate seal that you can buy on Amazon. The tail gate does not move and you have to close it harder than before, but you don't have to slam it.

I just sealed mine again tonight. I used just the 1 inch expanding foam seal initially but didn’t like how the sun turned it a brown color quickly and it let a lot of water through due to it not being that water resistant when it’s expanded. This time I used a d Shaped weather stripping seal that is 1 inch tall and put some of the expanding foam in the inside of the D to make it more firm. I have to shut my tailgate pretty hard to latch it currently but will see how water tight the seal is this week.

I just used a universal one from Amazon that you cut to length yourself. Ill grad some pics later today.

https://www.amazon.com/VERGILIUS-Adhesive-Universal-Stripping-Tailgate/dp/B07HJWXN97/

EDIT: Also I always clean surface with Isopropyl alcohol and then use 3M Adhesion promoter.
I just ordered this. Going to give it a try and see how well it works.
