I'm going on faith that they are logging issues when people pm the details to them, which I believe is their primary function. There's no data on what good has come of it though.
They did post a new TSB here one time.

In my case where my 2019 power steering failed they told me to private message them. I private messaged them as they told me too. They then responded and asked what dealership I was using. They contacted the dealership and FCA engineers directed the service techs how to fix my truck. I also received a phone call from a Warren, MI FCA employee who gave me his direct phone # and to contact him with any more issues. We spoke about 3 times during the process. They opened a case for me and also a STAR case for my truck which make the FCA engineers get involved.

I do believe they helped fix my truck. @RamCares thanks.

I didn't have a problem but I did PM them to ask directly what they did. They monitor the site and I would imagine they report back problems, perceived problems, and maybe do more on certain issues than we know. They did answer my questions and confirmed that Rugged Brown was no longer available. I don't believe I have seen any public acknowledgement of any other representative on a Ford website. While they probably have their hands tied on what they can actually do, I am appreciative Ram's desire to even care about what people think on the forums.

Not sure what was the final fix but they replaced them PCM, EPSM, cleaned some stuff, replaced some bolts, etc. and Its been fine since. According to the dealer it was 4200k of work

They got a 500.00 check sent to me from FCA after the 2 bonus buck coupons I had expired while waiting for my Rambox equipped truck to be built. I had the check in my hands about 4-5 weeks after taking delivery. Thanks @RamCares !

@Slim, you must have used some magic key words or something. I tried the same and they told me no. Then they suggested I call customer incentives. Customer incentives told me no and suggested I call customer care. No check for me. :(

They definitely monitor the site.

They have definitely used the site to help Warren with the issues.

They definitely have helped some.

They definitely have not helped some at all.

They definitely seem to be very unpredictable as to what they do case by case.

Thankful they are here though

I think they helped me because mine was a safety issue that they would have been legally liable for if I got injured.

HI,
I think it is a bunch of B.S. and a scam. I noticed they ask everyone for their VIN Number.
People, don't give out your VIN Number to someone on a forum with a fancy name or title !
Maybe ask them to identify where they work for Dodge and ask if they will send their contact number at Dodge or FCA .
If the scammers have people's VIN Number then when they need to fill an order for their "customers" then they know where to look. Just like in the movie,"Gone in 60 seconds".
Believe me, there is truth to that skepticism .

Where is the proof to your truth? People can get your VIN by looking at the windshield. It's not difficult. I would think the people with the skillset of those in that movie wouldn't be spending their time searching a forum site to attempt to get people's information. They either do not need it, or already have people in their area who the can buy the information from. Life isn't much like the movies

Happy holidays and relax

Hi,
Why walk around town taking photos of people's windshields and raise suspicion to yourself, when someone may send it to you by a email ? Then you sell it to, "the people in your area" , by email.
A scammers Skill Set changes constantly. It is like being in business . You have to constantly change your tactics to stay ahead of everyone else or you get left behind.
A VIN Number reveals a lot more about the owner than the truck's info.
Where do you think they get ideas to make movies, from real life.
Yea People Relax, but use caution on the internet.

Well ok then. You live your life letting movies control your life and I'll live my life watching movies since I've experienced life.

I'm out. Happy holidays
