I contacted RamCares about the leather in my '19 Limited peeling/shrinking and this was the reply I got...NOT a happy camper :(

After further research, we do not see any coverage for this specific concern, unfortunately. However, there are 4 open recalls on your vehicle. Please visit your local dealer for the following recalls: Y78- HD High Pressure Fuel Pump, Z08-Truck Windshield Wipers, Z20-HD Ram, 2021-2022 WD, and ZB8- Truck Tailgate Latch Alignment. Once you do so, please let us know so we can apply additional support.

I agree that this issue sucks. But you're well beyond your factory warranty period. What are you expecting from them? Most if not all manufacturers would respond the same way about an issue that happens at least two years beyond the original warranty period.

I will never buy another RAM with a leather dash...only vinyl for me if I decide on a 2025 after they work out the check engine light issues several folk have posted about.

I'd hope that RAM would care about keeping customers happy to ensure future purchases...as it is, without some positive response from RAM or the dealer, this'll very likely be my last RAM, which is too bad as I really like them (except for the leather dash) :(

I don't disagree with the sentiment. But unfortunately that's not the reality. A few customers switching brands because they are unhappy with the truck they bought isn't going to affect total Ram sales. Mostly because you can bet that there are Chevy, Ford and Toyota owners who feel the same way about their trucks. Pretty much all car makers have the same attitude about individual buyers. In my opinion it's the dealerships who should bend over backwards to keep customers happy. I can only speak for myself, but if a dealership is going out of their way to keep me happy when something goes wrong I'll keep coming back to buy from them in the future. Unfortunately they can only do so much if they are fighting against corporate headquarters though.
