Ram 1500 orders - Tell Us About Yours!

Well, she came today and she’s tucked in bed! Got a great deal that I’m happy with! Super nervous driving her home in DC area traffic, which is funny cause I drive fire engines for a living.

Trying to come up with a name that involves the color scheme (Pearl or white).

Any suggestions?!

Awesome looking truck. I wanted Ram Boxes, but with no private driveway or garage, I was afraid if the box was pried into, the bed would be screwed up too and probably would never seal right again. rally looks great.

New to the forum and excited to get my hands on my new truck.

Ordered on 4/26:

Laramie 1500
Granite
G/T Package
Night Edition
Level II
uConnect 12
Advanced Safety Group
Bed Utility Group
Technology Group
E-locker
33 Gallon Tank

I've seen this concern several times, but I've never seen it happen or hear about it happening. Also, if they are going to be bold and try to pry one open, I'd figure they would try to get into the truck first.

I had not thought of it that way. You make good sense, I need to slow down and think things through more.

Last updates but I got everything except the windshield tinted to 15% included pano. Also, got cilajet the day I got the truck for 995 and a 7 year warranty. That included not only the outside but the inside also. Apparently that works really well because the tint shop was remarking at how hydrophobic the leather was from the overspray.

I just noticed a price change on Uconnect 5 Nav with 12.0–Inch Touch Screen Display $2,095 - $1,395. Will I be able to negotiate this price after its been delivered to the dealer (Mark Dodge)?

Not if you price locked it most likely

Well...didn't think I'd know my truck got delivered BEFORE my dealer! Just so happened to see the transport truck unloading some Silverados at our neighboring dealership on my way to lunch today. Upon closer inspection, there was a gray Laramie Night Edition that looked an awfully lot like what mine should look like (Wentzville, MO's railyard is next to GM so the transport trucks will often load up with FCA and GM vehicles). Low and behold, it IS MINE! Driver was super cool and confirmed the VIN for me. PDI is being completed right now and I should have the keys within the hour! Happy to be about to officially join the 5thGenFam!

It made it home. Ram 1500, Bighorn, Backcountry package.
3.21 gears,
5.7Hemi (no e/t)
8.4 uconnect5
18 inch wheels,
5.7 bed,

I'm loving it, getting used to the gear shift will take a few road trips. Rides great, don't know about gas mileage yet. I really don't care anyway. the fit and finish is great, FCA did a great job putting her together.

I really like the Delmonico two-tone.

I just ordered my RAM thru MD on 5/17/22. They are saying it could be 16 weeks.

RAM 1500 Longhorn Limited 4X4, Patriot Blue. I am very excited. I am the proud owner of a 2016 Challenger SRT/392, and am trying to decide on whether to keep the Challenger (only 28K on it) or trade it in on the new RAM. My wonderful wife keeps telling me I deserve both, since I just retired from federal civil service, and prior to that I retired from the Air Force.

They don't want to over promise. I hope your truck beats that schedule. They told me the same, but mine beat the schedule. Mine was built about 6 weeks from order date, but took another month for delivery to the dealer. Transport system is just over loaded.

Thanks for the info! Renae told me that they don't want to over promise and I think that's a good business model. In the wacky world we live in I'd be happy to get it in that time frame though lol.

Ordered our truck on May2 and received word from Ram on May 26th that. it had been shipped to the dealer. 1500 Big Horn Quad cab, V-6, 4X4, Level 2 pkg, protection group, Alpine, rear wheel liners, Bed protection group, trailer brake control, Hydro Blue. Need to get a tonneau cover (Leer HF 350 M?), Gatorback mud flaps, quality off road running boards (thinking the cast aluminum OEM off road but they're quite spendy) and a Bedbug bedmate for it. This will be our family "car" as we have a 2018 Laramie 3/4 ton for our working rig. Where's a good lace to get the accessories? I've sent two messages to accessory.parts but haven't heard anything.

If the wife says you can keep the Challenger - KEEP THE CHALLENGER
