I just bought a brand new 2023 Ram Bighorn 5.7 4x4 sport with level 2 for $44500. Original MSRP was $62,615. National rebate was 15% plus an additional 13% from the mark dodge. It was a great deal and a great experience. Thanks to Anthony and the Mark Dodge staff for making it all seamless.
Wow, hopefully deals like this is a sign of good things to come.

I think your column labels are off. Scoot them all to the right by one column, and things make a lot more sense.

Those percentage discounts from MSRP are so different than a year ago, and you get your pick of options. Great deal and good dealer.
I didn't qualify for some of those special discounts 💰on my year end 23’ but glad that you did. And, you got a 24’! 👍
Enjoy the truck!

Adding the info for my 2024 Ram 1500 Rebel GT factory order through MD.

MSRP $76,810
-$9,688.75 affiliate pricing through employer
-$4,500 national cash rebate
-$500 first responder rebate
-$1,000 TDM coupon
=$61,121.25 paid

Approx 20.4% off MSRP

I'm very pleased and couldn't be happier! Planning to pick it up 1/15 at MD.

Another, a bit late, shout out to Anthony, Derrick, and everyone at Mark Dodge!!!
2024 Ram 1500 Laramie 4X4 Night Edition, List- $74,885. Mark Dodge Discount- $9,319. Rebates-$7,500. Price- $58,066 + $588 (doc fee, title, license), Traded in my 2020 LoneStar Night Edition for $34,000, so tax was only on $24,499, so out the door for $25114.30. I believe that is 22.5% off list.
My wife and I drove down on Friday evening 1/5/24 from Dallas, met Derrick Saturday morning, traded trucks, left with a full 33gallon tank (Thanks More customer service!) and got back home in time to go to the Stars game (they lost!). Fantastic experience! Never shop anywhere else!

RAM sent me a "private offer" of $2000 off a 2023 so even though I'm happy with my low milage 2020 Laramie, I thought I'd have a look. A local dealer has a 2023 Limited I am considering. MSRP of $79500 going for $61000, which is about 23% off.
I see these great deals for a new truck from Mark Dodge and I'm thinking maybe there's still some air in that offer.

What say you?

What’s the breakdown of discounts and incentives? $61k on a $79.5k MSRP is good even on a ‘23. You’re probably not going to find much better than that.

A few members have mentioned the desire to have a price paid thread so I decided to do one and pin it here so it will be easy for everyone to find.

I think the best way to make this thread is as follows:
MSRP of the specific truck
What Rebates and incentives were applied and $ amounts
Any further negotiations
Final price

Please do not include trade in values, taxes, OTD price or anything like that as those are all variable depending on where you live etc. Rebates and incentives are also regional so also please post up where you purchased the truck and when.

Example:

2016 Ram 1500 Sport

MSRP $64,440
-$10,000 rebate from Ram
-$1000 skilled trades rebate
-$3940 additional negotiated at dealer
=$49,500 paid

Vancouver. B.C August 2016
Don't forget dealer coupons, they can use them from the manufacturer to make a deal happen by lowering the price without the dealership taking a loss. I had a dealership use up their remaining ones for the month to get my price near what I wanted but it is difficult to get them to do this. It may take many dealership visits and walk outs until you get someone willing to play ball and it could just take being the right time. It's worse than buying a house

There's 10% which is RAM's national promotion and the rest is just listed as dealer discount. One red flag is the $3000 in add-ons (lojack, nitrogen tires, sealants) on top of the $61k. Of course I wouldn't accept any of those but haven't challenged them on it yet.

I'm not really in the market for a truck (I had my previous ride, a Dakota, for 23 years) so I'm going to need an offer I can't refuse.

Dealer coupons - haven't heard of those before, at least not called that. Holdback, maybe.

Just a thought, Limiteds are a great ride, but theirs a lot more tech to go wrong than your Laramie.

Back in 2018, I purposely ordered a loaded '19 Laramie with the 8.4" display so I had knobs for the HVAC system, no power steps or air suspension.

Not sure if your Laramie has those options, but something to consider since you said yours is low miles and problem free. A dealer would love to have a low miles '20 in on trade, I'm sure they'd sell it quick!

13% dealer discount is solid. You could potentially get a TDM email code from ramtrucks.com good for another $1k and an affiliate discount with tread lightly worth ~$500 - $800. That would be about as good as realistically possible from what I’ve seen.

I told the dealer the add-ons were a "nonstarter". This is the reply:

So you will happily take my discounts but wont take our aftermarkets ? Which still comes to a 17K discount ?
