Sounds great. I tried to do some numbers of leasing versus buying but nothing was close to this, $500 down and financed everything else at 1.95% for 5 years. Did you use a leasing agency or did this on your own? Much leg work / keyboard?

Honestly not really. I hit one dealer by work, then I went to another the next day. I had some insider information that the 2020s will also get EmployeePlus on 11/26 (which was true). I basically told the dealer, "you can put me at employee price today (5th or 6th of Nov ) on a 20, or I'll see you on the 26th...."

used my supplier discount & the dealer took off enough to get me right around 20% below MSRP. My trade also needed $3k in bodywork & front suspension (Michigan roads....) work. Avoided a huge bill & jumped into the Ram for nothing.

love the truck btw its night edition granite crytal. I thought I'd want LEDs but I'm pleased with the night edition aesthetics.

Newbie here. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a loaded limited. MSRP is 71,950. Dealer is offering sell price at 59,031. Question- they have the destination charge itemized on the pricing quote/worksheet. Freight is already included on the window sticker and included in the MSRP. Looks to me like I am paying the freight/destination twice. Thoughts?

That's exactly what they are trying to do. Tell them no and when they say it wasn't figured into the selling price let them know they are lying. Threaten to call Chrysler Cares and file a complain against the dealer for fraudulent business practices (fraudulent use of identifying information) the information being that the destination charges are already in the selling price. Irregardless of the selling price they are offering. Just like Doc Fees. My dealer only charges $150 Doc Fee and I've seen people get jammed up for $850 Doc Fees. That's just theft and building in a little extra profit for the dealer.

Made the jump. Traded my F-150 (2016 XLT eco 3.5 with 40,000 miles) for a RAM Laramie. Also got, what I think, is a great deal.

2019 Laramie 1500 4x4
$60,590 window
$14,500 off (Discounts and rebates)
$46,090 plus TTT

Truck was paid for. Was able to manage $27,400 for the trade which was more than I expected. All said and done, out the door at $21,560!! I sleep well at night with this deal. And I love the new truck.
Nice upgrade. What do you notice makes the RAM better? The 3.5 certainly had the power. (I had a 2.7)

Thats exactly what kept me from purchasing from a forum sponsor last April. Same double dip on the freight charges. So I didn't get what was really the better truck (option wise) due to my getting all pissy. In retrospect I should have just shut up but then there was the 12 hour,1 way drive and thinking about it the whole 24 hrs... :cautious:

Yeah, that's where they eventually "get you" do you want it and shut up or tell them no and walk away. I walked away from my deal over the tonneau cover, $229 difference. I'm like no I've got a we owe and a signed contract, not my fault yall lost the Black Friday sale price by waiting 3 days to order it. So when I was on the phone with them I said I'll be by in the morning to pick up my trade. Next morning at 830 they are texting me that they will eat the $229 since it was their fault. An agreement is just that an agreement whether verbally, by handshake or a written contract but outright lying and theft I won't stand for and I'll tell everyone who will listen to avoid them like the black plague of death. Todays social media, youtube, facebook, yelp etc really has a direct affect on their sales numbers and the allocations they get from the manufacturer. Chrysler Care opens a complaint and it immediately gets sent to the ownership, dealer principal and general manager. Then things start happening real fast for a shady salesman and sales manager. In the end, I wish you would of gotten what you wanted but a 12 hours drive surely someone in that kind of radius could of been a good dealer and traded for what you wanted.

I need a deal check please. Is this a good deal?

2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport 4x4
MSRP - $56,015
Selling - $44,625 (includes rebates but not tax, title, license, etc)

The only option it is missing that I wanted is the trailer brake controller. I may be able to get them to install as part of the deal.

Just a quick glance, in my head that 20% off MSRP. Pretty good deal anywhere. Just make them add the trailer brake controller which wont cost that much to have them install.

I didnt get any smokin’ deal (April, not June) but I only drove an hour to get the one I have, the wife was happier (she detests car purchasing) and overall between fewer options and slightly more money I was out 4K ish. I can handle that financially and I was able to get my son to the same place IN JUNE so he benefited from those great prices and better sales experience.
I never did get my $50 referral check though...

That looks pretty good, especially the last 3.5K off. Makes getting a 19’ worthwhile.

My build
October 2018 MSRP 49,865
December 2019 MSRP 50,810
945 increase
1.9% increase over 2018, maintaining pace with inflation?

New to the site and just leased a 2019 Big Horn Quad cab 5.7 4x4. $1,932.29 down 42 month/ 10,000 miles per year @ $243.53/ month.

Here is the breakdown:
MSRP - 46,910 + 400 bed liner = 47,310
Rebate - 5,417
Dealer Discount - 12,192.47
Purchase for - 29,700.52 = 37% off Doesn't include TTL
Lease buyout = 22,866.80

I think i got a deal even though I'm only leasing it.

Where did you purchase from?

Not knocking anyones deal (after all, I didnt do well), however I see the post above was a Laramie for $46 before TTL (I think). Did you price out a Limited, or just prefer the Laramie? Those 2 I posted from the dealer I bought from were Ltd's, one 4x2 and one 4x4, and thats before any negotiations. $49.2 to start negotiations from for a 4x4 isn't too bad. Beats the hell out of what I pd...

Hi All! New here. Picked up my 2020 Limited today. Did pretty well here in Ky. $71210 MSRP and did $54325 out the door with no trade. Love this truck. Got White ext, Black int., Ramboxes, multifunction tailgate, and all the Limited goodies.

Previous truck was '18 F150 Limited.

I wish we could get 24% off up here. I feel like I got hosed.

Actually, if you paid that OTD including the 6% KY sales tax...you got the best deal of anyone I've ever seen. Has to be 30% off or better.

My dealer worked great with me. I sold my car and paid them $400 to do paperwork and we used it as a trade 1st then completed paperwork for sale. So I actually only paid $10 in sales tax because of the trade tax incentive. So got right around 23% off the Ram
