Price negotiated from MSRP

figured i would update. i sent an email to md and got a response for my build and indeed md beat my local dealer by just slightly more than 4000.
i then went to see my dealer in person thinking if i went in person they would be more likely to deal, but they just sat there saying there was no way a dealer got that much lower as they all pay the same for these trucks. i showed him the md price quote and he just said buyer beware lol.

I told them i would be moving forward with md and i decided i will just drive down to luisiana to be able to trade in my truck, i just have my fears i will get so low balled on the trade in that i feel i need to bring a family friend with me incase i need to drive both trucks back. but hopefully its not needed.

either way i am submitting my order with md next week.

What are people scoring on average % on RHO?

I’m in north Texas, about 2.5 hours away from Dallas area. I had a 2019 Laramie (signature) that was like $58k msrp back then and got it OTD for like $44k. Almost 26% off at the time.

Now all these prices are so high, but I’m considering getting an RHO and willing to drive to MD. But I know discounts also depend on trim and feel the RHO isn’t getting the bigger discounts like some trucks.

Anyone with an RHO willing to share what they paid and where?
You are in truck country, so prices are always higher. A truck purchase in Texas vs Massachusetts will be different on negotiation. I’m in Oklahoma, so I feel you. Truck resale is higher though in truck country.

I was in the same boat and decided to go with MD, less headache.

Have you not contacted them to get a number on your trade yet?

nah, figured they wouldnt give one as im sure thats something they wont be able to without seeing it in person.
I believe MD will make trade offers via photos and descriptions online without requiring you to be in person. Might want to ask about that so you can know the deal and not need to complicate things.

I submitted a bunch of pics of my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and we negotiated the trade value over the phone before I signed any thing. They gave me a great amount for my trade.

Correct you will NOT leave your house to come to Mark Dodge without knowing your trade value (unless you show up and it's missing a door, etc).
PIcture, miles, vin, and a conversation.

BUT we cannot lock in your trade value in advance when placing the order. Too many variables out there.

Same here...easy, efficient and they were aggressive on the trade price.

Hauler brought 2 new cars to my area and hauled away 2 trades as well. ( I was the 2nd delivery)

They gave me one over the internet after lots of photos, beat the selling dealer by $1K.
Just sayin...
I was nervous driving 800 miles and afraid that I'd either get into an accident or at a minimum get a huge rock in the glass... nothing happened fortunately.

2025 Limited Night Edition sticker $88,545 paid $73,786.46
Nielsen Dodge, NJ , great buying experience !!

Glad to hear you had a good experience with a NJ dealer. Did you have a trade?
I did have a trade and they gave me KBB value which was better than Carvana.
I went to ram.com and found what I wanted at another NJ dealer that had a great price.
Nielsen matched that price
