Price negotiated from MSRP

yea i know i could probably get it less from mark but then i wouldnt be able to do a trade in for my current truck since im in colorado and dont think i want to drive that far. i might ask them when i go in about getting it a bit lower.

I thought about selling the truck and just dealing with mark but then i would have to sell it first then make the order to be sure i sold it before the new truck came in, but then there is an issue with another vehicle to drive until then as i use my ram as my primary/only vehicle, got a family car i probably could borrow but really dont want to do that.

or if someone happens to know a comparable dealer within reasonable driving distance of colorado that deals in high volume like mark i could get a quote from i could go that route.
Plus you don't get the sales tax offset which a trade does allow. Course it all depends on what the dealers are offering vs its actual private party value. I will say that MD offered me $1K over what the selling dealer had offered me.

I traded my 2020 Wrangler Rubicon in at Mark Dodge and drove it from Pittsburgh, PA to Lake Charles, LA. They handily beat the trade in price I was offered by 3 local dealers for my trade. It was more than worth the drive to make the deal with Mark Dodge. It's worth exploring.

I just traded with MD...their offer was more than Carmax and they dropped my new truck off and picked up the trade at same time to haul it back. You have to pay for the delivery of both vehicles but the cost difference I ended up saving money with MD v. Carmax.

BTW I only suggest the carmax because it is a way that you can sell your car/truck ON the day you choose, with no one knocking on your back door, and without smoke-mirrors as if you took it to a corner-lot used car dealer. It is not always (lately, less so) the BEST offer, but it is a clean benchmark. It is in fact, what a large company is willing to pay for your vehicle today. It is, IMO, a better data point than KBB.
 
There are tons of car buying services online. They all do pickup or drop-off at your local auction yard.

Koons and Mark Dodge, ended up only being able to use 9.5k of incentives had ~4k in personal incentives thay unfortunately would not all stack. Finalized with a local dealer this morning as Koons doesn't do business in MA, and shipping cost from MD would eat up the savings

Ending $ 53k, with complimentary 150,000 mile 10 year extended powetrain which is giving me some piece of mind with the I6
 
Yea that whole rebate/incentive/discount stacking thing can really throw you off. A large SE based dealer I bought from in 2019 who didn't use to "stack" incentives/rebates is now doing so, currently he has the $2K "previous Ford owner" incentive right there in the mix before the final price. That's not responsible marketing. Gotta' read all the fine print these days.

It wasn't a dealer thing at least that I know of, they tried in the ordered system and showed me what waa goings on. I had ~4 different Private incentives that I wanted to apply all, but once they selected one they could not add in the other Private one's but it did stack with the national ones and Ford conquest so overall I was happy I figured before agreeing that I wouldn't get all of them
 
You still did just fine on your deal. Don't let any buyers remorse bother you. The deal is done, you will have a nice new truck and you hopefully don't live in the Paradise suburb of LA right now.
 
Yeah I'm happy with the deal, will see if it can get any better when I take delivery with the incentives that are available at that Time.
 
Check out Dave Smith or Dennis Dillion in Idaho. They both have great prices and will probably match anyone.
 
What are people scoring on average % on RHO?

I’m in north Texas, about 2.5 hours away from Dallas area. I had a 2019 Laramie (signature) that was like $58k msrp back then and got it OTD for like $44k. Almost 26% off at the time.

Now all these prices are so high, but I’m considering getting an RHO and willing to drive to MD. But I know discounts also depend on trim and feel the RHO isn’t getting the bigger discounts like some trucks.

Anyone with an RHO willing to share what they paid and where?
 
If using the standard incentives at the time 6,500 manufacturer incentives & 6,000 dealer. Numbers may be different depending on what you qualified for but the 6,500 was available to everyone in December I believe
