Price negotiated from MSRP

What should someone be aiming for on a New 2024 these days? Looking at a Built to Serve if that makes any difference. Sticker $64,075. “Advertised MSRP“ $73,420 somehow they are different.
In my area it seems like dealers don’t want to deal. I’ve always assumed 20% is the magic number with the thought nowadays to shoot a couple points higher with the 25s filling up the lots, potential over supply of vehicles on lots and the demand for vehicles declining as a whole.
Am I out of line or can someone advise differently?
might just have to go to the volume dealers or find a used Hemi.

Honestly, once they iron out these I6 hurricanes you will never miss the Hemi. I love my 25 Rebel... so far!

Interesting statement. They never ironed out the problems with the hemi. I hope for everyone who buys one that Stellantis is up to the task.

Me too!

But to be fair in the four other hemi's I have owned I never had a single issue whatsoever. So I am confident that they WILL address and fix any issues that arise.

Generally speaking, it has recently been a little less than a dollar per mile to east and west coast, as well as most well-populated areas. The more rural you get, it starts to creep up towards like $1.15 per mile or so. This fluctuates as it is real-time pricing with carriers, so it's not "lockable" in advance. We do all the legwork for you, you simply pay the carrier upon their arrival to your driveway.
We are somewhat rural, at least by socal standards. Had a vehicle (69 Charger) shipped from Oregon a few years back. Found a carrier (uship.com) that would meet us at a dealership, in large city, where he was picking up another vehicle. For the convenience, he gave us a $200 discount off the $.80/mi rate at the time. Met him there and drove it home (about 30mi).

Is the 16-23% rule of thumb a total including national incentives? Or is it just dealer discount sans official offers?

How long did you own each of the 4 Hemis?

In my case a dealer incentive was given in addition to the national rebates in effect. This was advertised on their website before I went there. This amounted to about 15% off MSRP. I then haggled for another 5%. And got them to match an online price for their extended warranty from RAM

I just got a great deal, at least what I felt like I did. Just picked up a new 2024 laramie hemi. Stickered at just under $67K MSRP, bought it for just under $56K.

** I'll add, picked it up at steve white in hickory, which they have always been great. They don't nickle and dime add ons either. Was pretty much straight up.

I just finished my 2025 Laramie custom order purchase at Mark Dodge and am very satisfied with my deal.

MSRP: $81,655
MD Discount: ($10,208)
Ram Retail Cash: ($3,000)
Ram Website Bonus Cash: ($1,000)
First Responder Cash: ($500)
Total Discount: ($14,708)
Sale Price: $66,947

Ashley, Anthony, and the rest of the MD team have been great to work with. I can't wait to go down there in a couple of weeks to pick up my truck. I highly recommend MD!
