Price negotiated from MSRP

Thank you, and all the others on this thread. You all either saved me $10-15K…or cost me a couple tens of thousands by convincing me to trade in my 2019 for 2021, depending on how you look at it. ;)

P.S. If anyone is interested in a Retrax Pro XR for a 5'7" bed, feel free to contact me. My order will be for a 6'4" bed, so I'll need a new cover; planning on sticking with Retrax.

In the same boat being a Georgia resident. Holding out on selling my current truck as I would rather trade-in for the right number to get the tax savings! FWIW Carmax gave the best price on my trade and VROOM was an insult. Vroom also waits to pay you until they take it to their facility to "inspect". Carmax and Carvana pay you on the spot but have not checked pricing with Carvana yet.

Carvana beat out Vroom by over $3k on our car that will be gone tomorrow afternoon. Dealerships, Vroom, nor Carmax could touch the price that Carvana gave us. So far it's been a good experience with them.

After some back and forth I finally made my order today with Carl at Criswell. Price was a couple hundred more than Aaron at Mark Dodge so why not stay local. 11% off MSRP with $500 down payment. Now the waiting begins!
Carl has been easy to work with as so was Aaron.
MSRP 50,055
Sale price before any incentives 44,549

So this may be a dumb question, but what would cause specific costs on a Monroney sticker to change? For example, I'm seeing a variance in base price although after doing a stare and compare I'm not seeing a difference. That and I'll sometimes see a difference in costs for options between stickers?

I have seen the same for base on Big Horn quads. It appears they came down $500, then went up $250 in March. Sport and Nite pkgs went up slightly. So I believe it's based on date of mfg. Wish they put build date on the sticker, but you can check inside the door.

Well, I've done it! I placed my order with Aaron at Mark Dodge for a 2021 Ram 1500 Longhorn, 4x4 6'4" bed with lots of goodies. Now the waiting game begins.

MSRP: $71,155 ($300 more than my early March quote; Ram increased the price of the Hemi eTorque by that amount)
Price before incentives: $61,086
I was able to lock in 0% for 72 months, $500, plus $1,000 coupon from Ram. That brings the total before taxes to $59,586. If rebates are higher at the time of delivery, I can qualify for them. My bet is they will be higher in July when I hope the truck will be complete, but I'm guessing on both rebates and completion date.

I mentioned earlier that I found a local dealer who nearly matched Mark Dodge's offer (about $500 higher). I decided to go with Mark Dodge in part because the process was just easier, and also because them, I was able to lock in 0% and my $1,000 coupon. The local dealer thought that couldn't be done, and while I could have spent time educating them, in the end, Mark Dodge made it easy and Aaron earned my business.

And what the heck, we'll turn the trip to and from Louisiana into a mini-vacation.

Just a FYI, I financed the $7500 minimum today when finalizing my purchase, so I could get that extra $500 rebate. I have an 810 credit score and they gave me a 5.37% interest rate. Not a big deal to me since I'm paying it off right away, but just shows you how crappy their rates are if you take the rebate option and not the 0% finance option.

Wow that was quick. Good job.

Carvana is offering crazy prices right now - up $1600 for my 2014 Equinox since the beginning of the year....

First time posting. Been a great help so far. Looking for some feedback on a potential deal.

2021 Ram 2500 Laramie mega cab 6.7l.
Msrp $79,600
$500 doc fee
6.625% nj sales tax
$78,500 out the door

No rebates at this time on 2500's.

Not as much as I wanted off but they aren't budging. 4 hours away, only one I've found. What do yall think?
I have no idea what kind of a deal he may have on 2500s but Aaron at Mark Dodge did an incredible deal for me on a 1500 Limited. I'd at least check with him before I pulled the trigger anywhere else.

Has anyone taken the full rebate option when buying and then financed a little from Chrysler to get the additional $500 cash rebate? Just curious what kind of outrageous interest rate they're giving people.
I did that last week at Mark Dodge. Financed with Chrysler Capital to get the $500. Their rate was 3.97%. Needless to say, I'll either refinance or pay it off after a month.

So, I did think about that as well. The minimum I'd have to finance is $7500 and then I'd get another $500 rebate for financing with Chrysler. I was just curious if it was a pain to put a large down payment down or pay all cash when you're out of state. It was easy to put the $1k down payment using my card, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to wire transfer the rest of the money. Didn't know how much of a pain in the butt that process was.
I gave Aaron a credit card number over the phone as down payment. When I went to physically get the truck last week, I gave them a credit card for $3,000 (the max they accept on a card) so I could get frequent flyer points, then a personal check for $9,500, and financed the rest with Chrysler Capital to get the $500 but will either refinance or pay it off in a month. No wire transfer involved.

I wanted to order from Carl as he would have been much more local than Aaron at Mark Dodge. The dealbreaker was that Carl told me it was impossible to lock in incentives at order time like the 0% financing offer. Aaron got it done & got my order.

I completed the wire transfer today. Went very smooth, no issues. All paperwork is done and went smooth as well. Just waiting on a shipping company to accept the ship price we put out there to bring it to AZ.

Finalized my purchase through Aaron last night! DocuSigned all my documents. Too good of a deal to turn down and he just made it so easy. Was going to order but he ended up having the exact build I was looking for come in!

MSRP: $75,290
Sale Price: $64,140 (+$219 dealer fee)
Discounts: $3,000
% off MSRP: 18.5%

He was also $2k more on my trade than any other dealer, including Carvana/Vroom/CarMax.

Now to plan my road trip to take delivery on Monday!

Can anyone confirm you can get consumer cash and the bonus cash with 0% incentives told me yes but my dealer said they can't.

On a limited? It’s 0% up to 72mo PLUS $500
offer code Bonus Cash 20CM5. There may be additional offers available based on where you live, but for my neck of the woods, this is currently the offer.

I just picked up my 21 Ltd Longhorn from Jason and Aaron. They were substantially lower than employee pricing and I had an FCA employee number that I could have used. They said it was too much hassle for them. Employee pricing is 5% below Dealer Cost. In addition, their dealer fees were only $219.00. You will not see that anywhere else! Give Jason or Aaron a call, Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA. And no sitting down for that idiotic sales pitch from the Finance Guy!! When the finance guy called, he had one question, "Do I want any addons like extended warranty, etc.?" I said No and that was it!

I think it has been overhyped/oversold. I've driven all kinds of trucks with all kinds of mirrors. The mirrors on these trucks are very good. With proper adjustment you really don't have blind spots alongside. Where I see it as having value is backing. Cross traffic, kids or other objects. It would be another of those niceities not necessities to me.
If you get a loud enough reverse beeper; cross traffic and others behind you will be no problem! :ROFLMAO:
