Price negotiated from MSRP

Location: Texas
Date: January 22, 2020
Truck: 2020 Limited CC 4x4, 5.7 eTorque, DRP,
MSRP: $67,320
Dealer Accessories: $1,295 (Tint, Wheel locks, EVTS, some other random unnecessary things) - Had the EVTS removed and had them cut this fee in half.
Discount & Rebates: $11,000
Sale Price: $57,615

Was OTD for right around 56 as my trade equity took care of taxable difference, doc fees, registration, etc. I did get about $1500 more on trade than I was expecting so that worked out in my favor as well. Could I have got a better deal...? Sure, was I interested in messing with it for a few weeks to save a little bit more, ehhh not really. Negotiating interest rates with my Credit Union now and they are hungry so it should be interesting to see where it falls. The reality of it for a guy like me is that in 24 months I'll be bored with this truck and then buy another one....

One interesting thing.... Looked on TrueCar, average discount from sticker on the higher trim RAM's is $11k, so I'm comfortable with being average LOL

Sat down for my first negotiation. Did not go well. Msrp 53,150 2020 big horn cc 6’4
Bed and best number I could get out of them was 48,150. 2k off and 3 k in rebates. What did I miss?

Kinda wish I checked this forum before I purchased but for what it is worth the following are my results:

Location: Texas
2020 Limited loaded MSRP 70,455 after discounts sales price of 56,820 ~ 19.4% discount. Not including TT&F.

They are all incredibly frustrating I feel like I started looking for a left over

53101 after EP

msrp

Taxes in New York put me at like 54472 .....I put $11000 cash down so it was about 43472 financed.
Would you mind posting your window sticker, please? I'm trying to find a '20 1500 Limited also. It seems like you were able to negotiate a very good deal. Thanks.

Hey All, doing some shopping for a new 2020 RAM BigHorn CC , Night Edition, 5.7 NON -Etorque with Level 2 Equipment.
MSRP that I am seeing is 52k -53k. I am trying to negotiate with some dealers, however they are all pretty much at around 43-45 Sell price BEFORE taxes, Dealer fees etc.
This seems pretty high based on what I am seeing on this thread.. Are the rebates & incentives that bad right now? I was targeting a aprox 40K sell price without taxes, fess etc. am I being unrealistic? Maybe I just need to work on these guys up a bit more.... I'm in New England, in RI.

53 for 43 is pretty good. That’s 19% off. Your not getting 25% off unless you live in middle America

Closed a deal tonight. Not anything earth shattering but being on LI I think I did very, very good.
2019 bighorn sport crew cab 6’4” bed black
MSRP $51,995
Selling price $42,930
Difference is 19%
Got them to install a trailer brake controller for no extra charge too.
I’m happy.

Sounds like a good deal to me!!! Saved $9500 back in December on a 2020 rebel $59495 msrp and that was when they had EP going on ($53101 after EP)!!!!! I tried hard for my target of 48-49 but they wouldn’t budge after getting them to $50000.....just make sure u go to a high volume dealer, the one around the corner from me is not and they weren’t willing to negotiate past EP.... but don’t worry you aren’t really saving any money, buying stuff for you ram is very addicting what you saved on msrp You will spend that and more on accessories and other stuff .......Good luck and enjoy.

$59,905 MSRP for 2020 Rebel, down 16% in discounts to $50320, and they gave me an extra $1000 on my trade in to get me closer to the $49k I was looking for before trade in. Wasn't the best deal, but it's a 2020, and they gave me more than I thought I would get for my trade so I went with it.

2020 RAM Longhorn Ecodiesel Custom Order - MSRP: 72700
Best I got offered in MA: $60500 + Title,Tax,Reg. approx $64K OTD.

Here’s where I am think I should hold out for more?

Bighorn ecodiesel
Msrp $56885
Incentives -$7000 (finance and conquest) plan to refinance in a few months for lower rate
Dealer discount -$4570
Truck price=$45315
+Dealer doc fees +$389
Total dealer price before ttl $45704

I also do have a trade that I’m getting $1000 over kbb on

Thanks

So here's mine. Sorry, I don't have a breakdown of my rebates. At the end of the day, I simply negotiated an "out the door/on the road price". I felt that was the simplest way and avoiding any "surprises".

2020 1500 Bighorn Crewcab w/ rambox, 5.7 hemi, 4x4, sports appearance package, level 2 Bighorn package, trifold tonneau, 33 gallon tank, tow package.

MSRP 52060 (Includes Freight)

Negotiated Price $46350 (Includes $1695 freight and $299 dealer processing)
Rebates $6000

Final Sale Price $40,350

There was an additonal $3076 in title, tags and taxes.

$43,426 on the road.
