PR40.1 Update File?

I see on google drive latest 39.9, where is PR40.1?

Hey guys I got the 40.1 installed. I upgraded from 39.7. Huge difference for me in navigation performance even on the older map. Overall much snappier.

Also my “Search and go” feature came back after it was gone at the 39.7 update, and now the Ram app in my iPhone shows fuel level, tire PSI, mileage, and oil life. Previously the app would work to unlock and stuff, but no health report.

I have a 2021 2500 big horn, I upgraded from the 5 inch non nav to 12 inch nav.

It's currently on software 18.5, tried to update to 40.1 but failed with error code 20.

I'm guessing it failed due to such a large gap in versions. Plan to try 28 then go up from there. Anyone else try this? Any input is welcome

Although the PDF wasn't much help my assumption was correct.

Updated to 28, then 34, then 40.1. biggest improvement I can see is the responsiveness of the OS. Seems a lot more snappy.

Actually, it said anything under 20.16 this bulletin doesn't pertain. If you get it to work more power to ya.

Yes I was able to get it to 40.1. Had to do incremental updates to get there.

It's typical in software not to be able to jump that many updates.

Hold the bottom left and right icons on the touch screen for a few seconds and you'll enter a menu where you can check radio software

Anyone know what error code 17 means when trying to update? Got about 60% through before seeing this error

From 18.6 yes, the system is a lot more snappy and more stable.

The factory nav still is garbage though, it won't find signal no matter what I do.

I was able to go from 32.4 to 40.1.

I thought 40.1 only changed Uconnect. I was surprised that it also changed my EVIC. Speedo figures are in a different, thicker font. Avg and Current MPG numbers are larger. These are were most prominent changes, there may be other changes as well. Does anyone know what else it changed on the EVIC?

Not sure I like the EVIC changes. But have to like them because you can't go backward.

Looks like I am running LR 34.31. Will I have any issues going to 40.1 and is it worth the headache.
