who else has a plate on the front? I notice the top holes used to secure the plate don't really allow the screw to screw in and "snug up" to the bracket.....it's almost like it's meant to just push in versus screw in. Do I go in under the bumper and attach a bolt to the rear. I usually don't do front plates. Maybe a thicker "screw" ........update. --->well, I went out and checked the security of it and it's fine......the screw is held pretty tight in there.

Why start now?

the holes come already drilled into the bumper........the first time I've ever seen that. I don't like the look of just empty holes. Comes from factory with those holes there

we need a front plate up here in Canada.

Thanks bro .....I've had 3 black interiors including the one I traded today. It was always my fav color until now :)
congrats and best of luck with it. you couldn't go wrong with either of the longhorn interiors. enjoy!

Well it’s official. Man this dang brown interior is why I had patience. And The rustic bronze metal and door handles. . Man!!! I’m not gonna waste my time trying to explain what I love, but this Brown is crazy!! So I refused to show my wife the truck before today. She had no idea other than it’s a new truck. She knew I ordered one and that was it. I wanted to shock her cuz she said ...”yeah yeah another truck”.....now her mouth is on the floor. And she still drives a Mercedes. This interior is far better than the BMW 7 series i had. Tinted windows and undercover ultra flex tomorrow. Wow that thing is beautiful, really has me thinking Longhorn might be the way I go. I hate how undecided I am, there are too many trims that I really like, and they're all really well differentiated.

My order status:

2019 Ram 1500 Laramie
6'4" bed
Granite Crystal
HEMI 5.7
4x4
No air suspension
Moonroof, chrome package, etc.

Ordered: 4/29/18
VIN issued: 5/3/18
Built and awaiting a train at Sterling Heights Assembly: 6/15/18
On a train passing through Winnemuka, NV: 6/19/18
In Benicia, CA awaiting truck transport to dealer in Monterey, CA: currently
Estimated delivery date to dealer in Monterey, CA: 7/3/18

Looks like I'm getting an awesome 4th of July present. Happy birthday America!

If I do get it on 7/3 it will be just over 9 weeks. Dealer told me 12 weeks when I made the order. So I'm happy!
I am still waiting on my truck to be delivered. It's been in Benicia, CA (offloaded from train) for over 2 weeks now - just sitting there waiting to be trucked to the dealer. The wait is killing me. Dealer said delivery last week, then Monday, then Tuesday, then today. Well, today is here and still no truck. The hours are like weeks. Someday ... someday...

Wow. I am so sorry you are going through this. I am going to stop complaining.

I live in California (front plates are the law here) and I've been paying attention to how many cars have front plates. It seems that my very un-scientific observation shows about 1/20 cars don't have a front plate. I think front plates look terrible on any car. So I've decided to go without the front plate on my new Ram (if it ever arrives). I figure 1/20 is a pretty large percentage of law breakers (5%). I'm guessing the CHP is not really enforcing this law, otherwise the percentage would be a lot smaller. Worth the risk to have my new Ram look it's best.

i agree 100% they look better. i'm in new jersey and we have to have them also. you see people drive around without them, but i don't want to take a chance. if i unluckily catch a officer at the wrong time he could get you for your tinted windows and maybe a moving violation. when i drive around now there is 1 town by me who will stop you for tinted windows. so i always open my shade on my sunroof so you don't notice them as much.

Check your state laws regarding maximum tint allowed and keep within that, problem solved. Lol!
