Hey folks: I have been following this forum for a month or so and want to thank you all for the great information. I have ordered a limited in granite with ramboxes, trailer break control only (thanks to the great info on this forum about 360 camera) and a number of other options but no etorque or protection group. I ordered the truck in late April when my dealers allocation window opened, modified the order in early June due to the camera issue and have been told that my truck will ship 7/8/18. I understand that this is more than likely inaccurate based on the experience of others as I only went to d1 status on 6/15/18. I will keep you all informed and thanks again for the great information.

well mine went D1 on June 1 and shipped June 25. What status are they giving you right now.? Has it been built? Has it shipped? I'll admit, mine went pretty quickly.....and most of us only trust MOTS. But I found that Ram gave me some pretty good updates up until the truck shipped.

Did your dealer actually place the order in April, because I didn't think Rambox ordering opened up until May.

Anyway welcome to the rambox waiting area. Sit down, have a beer, and watch paint dry with us. May 3rd for me, still in D, rumor of build last week in July.

Welcome to Rebel and/or Rambox limbo. My order was 05/04, D1 shortly after and build date is 07/09.
I've decided next week to keep myself from going insane, I will allow myself to check for the window sticker once a day, after dinner, before bed. Fingers crossed it's ready to roll by the end of the week.

Great point on the order date. They took my deposit on 4/19/18 and confirmed the order on 5/6/18. So probably did not order until the second date. I do not have my vin so I am not checking the status in real time. I will call my dealer tomorrow to check the build status. As an aside, the sales manager for my dealer called me a month ago and told me that my truck would be in the first run with ramboxes built in the country as they involved the district fca rep to prioritize mine and another customers truck. I think this is not accurate and is more smoke. Last point is that my scheduling priority on my build sheet is listed as 1. I do not know if that means anything.

I have a 2014 ram 2500 limited to pull our three horse trailer. I am getting the 1500 with the 3.92 rear end because it will have plenty of towing capacity, better ride, full time all wheel drive and I am a sucker for new things.

i have the 3.92' s and will never go back. just a mild larger tire. the MPG'S lost is not an issue. you will enjoy the the getty- up- and go.

I agree warvet that @ Ram customer service really boils down to the representative that answers the phone. The representative I have come across for the most part have helped, but..... you will come cross some that just feed you BS. The action to take is be knowledgeable about your situation and when you dont like or feel like your are being misled call back for a different representative. This process has taught me how to add and subtract from a new method. What I'm saying is when you do the math of two representative it usually equals out to the true of the matter .

MOTS updated last night, it is in RAWLINS, WY I was hoping it was true and they had a Star Trek transporter. That way my delivery would be faster, assuming it ever gets built

I get excited when I see folks on JeepGarage MOTS tracking update but I don't know their config. Two trucks were built today, 7/1 for Jorhowe and Stubright.

Laramie black appearance package cc with the 6’4” bed. E-torque and every option besides the air ride. Now I’m kicking myself for not getting that. Also I got the tow package and I wasn’t told that deletes the 360 camera and puts these ugly *** chrome 4th gen mirrors on it. So I’m kicking myself for that. Hope this info helps

Well it’s official. Man this dang brown interior is why I had patience. And The rustic bronze metal and door handles. . Man!!! I’m not gonna waste my time trying to explain what I love, but this Brown is crazy!! So I refused to show my wife the truck before today. She had no idea other than it’s a new truck. She knew I ordered one and that was it. I wanted to shock her cuz she said ...”yeah yeah another truck”.....now her mouth is on the floor. And she still drives a Mercedes. This interior is far better than the BMW 7 series i had. Tinted windows and undercover ultra flex tomorrow.

Spectacular, amazing and cool. I initially wanted to get the interior of your truck but my wife reminded me that tack (horse equipment) is generally dusty and a black interior will wear better. I don’t know whyI listened to her reasonable point as that interior is incredible. Well done and congratulations.

It was this interior (black / cattle tan) that made us order a Longhorn over a Limited. And the Limited has a great-looking interior.
