Hey guys, thought I would chime in with my build, since I was informed last night that my truck came in.

I ordered it about the 4th week of May...can't remember off the top of my head. So in total, looks like about 5 weeks from beginning to end, which seems really fast compared to what I've been reading on here. Not sure why! Maybe my order came in just as they had ironed out all the kinks!

FYI, I had no ram boxes or etorque...Just 5.7 and Off-Road package.

So, I guess mine is waiting for a train going in my direction. Ram built my truck quickly but I feel like my train time will take forever.

I think u already told me —-where is yours going? I think u said west coast. I notice others in the 2018 tracking got to the final train stop 2 hours from here and sat from 2-9 days for a truck to pick it up. Shoot, I can just go get it cuz I know darn well it should be there sooner than July 7-11 unless it sits somewhere enroute

I went into the 2018 MOTS thread and was able to ID about 4 ppl who had trucks come to Winston Salem, NC (where my dealer said the train would come to). I basically looked at their route and timeline and so far, I'm on track. I say that to say ......I wonder if you can see someone in the 18 MOTS thread who came you way. Maybe the interconnect wasn't too bad for them, for example. I know I'll sit in Winston Salem for 2-9 days waiting on a final truck ride, for example (based off of those 4 ppl). So, that could be the worst part.

I got the 20's...Here are some pics. Not a fan of the chrome side steps, but they came with the chrome package. Smoothest driving vehicle I've ever driven in my life!

Congrats on the truck, real sharp looking. Those side steps should come off fairly easy then you can sell them to someone that won't be off roading and getting hung up by them. I know its kind of early but have you tried out the rear locker? Good luck with your truck!

No, not yet. Unfortunately I had surgery this a.m. and haven't been able to play around with anything. My sales rep though sent me an email with a customer connect+ link to a whole slew of informative videos on every aspect of the truck...it's pretty cool.

thought some of you guys would get a kick out of this. i pulled out a print out of the dates and status of my 2013 longhorn that i ordered on 4-26-13. it went to d-1 on 6-5. was built pending inspection on 6-25. body vendor on 6-26. went to plant release ( KZ ) on 6-27. then loaded on railcar on 6-29. the ETA. at that time to my dealer was 7-15. it got to my dealer late on 7-5 on a friday evening and i picked it up on 7-8. now from order untill it got to my dealer was 10 weeks. i felt that wasn't too bad since that was the model year they redid the interior big time. but what is really interesting the shipping only took 6 days from the warren plant to my dealer in N.J. that's not like it is now. i'm sitting at 11 weeks now waiting on my limited that i ordered on 4-11. i waited untill 10 weeks to call ram and was told it was in JS status. that's not one you want to be in. that's where they put you when there is a issue with your truck and it is waiting to be fixed. they couldn't or wouldn't tell me how long it's been there. so i went to my dealer to see what they could find out. long story short. i now have a new vin # with my exact order that shows was ordered on 6-18. it is now in JB staus and my dealers rep said it would out of that staus by today or friday. the truck with the new vin has my name with it. the first vin# truck has no name with it. so my only guess is a new truck was assigned to me cause there's something wrong with the first one. so i know it's going to be another 4 weeks seeing how long every one else has waited on the shipping. sorry for the long post.

Truck with Off-Rd in Max Steel looks great, congrats sir! The lower-pro 20's look better than I thought they would with the Off-Rd package and those wheels are killer! Thought they wouldn't fill the wheel wells enough like on Ford and GM, as all 3 are running 55 aspect ratio sidewall tires on the 20s.

Yes, it’s max steel. I wish I could post link, but it’s a customer link that you login into that your dealer creates with your VIN number.
