Believe it or not, I ordered it sight unseen. In person, it looks fantastic...glad I ordered it! You're right, it's a bluish gunmetal.

I just got an update of the worst kind. This means my car is waiting for a train. This sucks, I have seen some people wait a week or more.

I went into the 2018 MOTS thread and was able to ID about 4 ppl who had trucks come to Winston Salem, NC (where my dealer said the train would come to). I basically looked at their route and timeline and so far, I'm on track. I say that to say ......I wonder if you can see someone in the 18 MOTS thread who came you way. Maybe the interconnect wasn't too bad for them, for example. I know I'll sit in Winston Salem for 2-9 days waiting on a final truck ride, for example (based off of those 4 ppl). So, that could be the worst part.

I'm amazed at the variety of info people get from different sources. So I have a build date, safe to assume 2 weeks after that before it's on a train... if I'm lucky, salesman was right and end of July is possible.

Straight from the dealer, via email. He copy and pasted but missed the estimated delivery date... which he still hasn't gotten back to me about. As long as it's in the next 6 weeks, I'm happy.

What all factory add on did you have? I'm trying to figure out how much longer I have in BODY VEND compared to others. I have spray in line, tonneau cover and power step.

Mots is saying I have been in JB status for several days but mine is showing Mopar body vendor which is different than what others are showing. Spray in liner and power steps only. 10 weeks from order on Monday so at this point I don't see having it in 12 weeks.

My dealer emailed me and told me my truck has an estimated shipping date from the factory of 7/8. MOTS has be in D1 as of 6/21. Has anyone got an estimated shipping date from there dealer and has it been accurate?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but dealer info may not be very accurate.
I went to my dealership today to check if they have any news. I usually check about every 2 or 3 weeks so as not to be a pain. (Ordered on 5/7 and went into D1 on 6/16). Dealers' computer showed my truck scheduled for building on 6/20 and shipping on 6/28. I informed him that MOTS still showed me in D1 as of today 6/29. After checking further he determined that I am in fact still in D1 and he has to contact someone to get a POSSIBLE build date. I do not blame the dealer but rather the communication coming from FCA / Ram. They have been extremely unreliable in communicating with customers and dealers (e.g. ETorque production, EPA approval, Rambox production, scheduling, etc.) and therefore they are responsible for the frustration that is out there. I hope the wait will be worth it.

First let me respond with my height of optimism definition: A flea floating down the river on his back with an erection hollering, "open the drawbridge"!
Now on a more serious note. Do not put any stock in any shipping date prior to KZ status. They are nothing but fillers for the form at this stage. Next let me add that not one Rebel out of an entire previous production run has made it beyond I status (mine included). There are none at any dealership across the USA. Prior to this models fiasco you could reasonably presume (note I didn't leave myself open by saying assumed) that it would ship 2 weeks after built. My most recent conversation with my dealer who got an update from their zone manager says look for the end of July before any Rebels begin to ship.
