Order Tracking

I would highly recommend everyone stop contacting FCA for status updates. You are wasting your time. Save your time and frustration and get your vehicle tracked by MOTS over at jeepgarage.org I paid $25 which was well worth it and I stopped contacting FCA via chat or phone and received only accurate info. You also get all of the shipping info that FCA will not provide whatsoever. They will just tell you it is in shipping status. Below is the current info that was just updated by MOTS.

I 100% agree MOTS is the best option and the best $25 I ever spent

No e-torque, but I did order ramboxes. Order date was May 5th. I like the idea of eTorque, but since it's the first year they're doing it, I wanna see how it goes first.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Choooo choooo

For me, MOTS and Ram have been on par with the same info. I know some have had a horrible time with Ram. But MOTS is better with detailed locations

Just a question for those who know the ordering process better than me.
Now that Etorque Rams are finally being produced, will FCA build the ones we have ordered first? Or, will they try to get them to the dealers first for stocking purposes so they can get sales going and after they build up a nice supply on dealer lots then build our ordered trucks? They already have our deposits and commitments so the incentive to expedite our trucks may not be there.
I am not stressing, just asking, since I was told when I ordered 8-10 weeks is possible so I am still within that time frame (ordered May 7).

Starting to wonder about my dealership. First time ordering a Ram, placed on 6/15 Limited with e-torque, $1000 down.
Talked to them today, no VON or VIN yet? Last truck I ordered was in 16, LTZ Z71, left dealership with VON and received VIN the following day. Is it possible the e-torque is holding this up?

They all go in order, if it is a "sold" order it will be pushed up. The normal lead time from time of order, until the vehicle starts being built is about 3 weeks.

VON is basically instant from my understanding and you should have a VIN by now, I'd be asking questions.

I guess I am not a normal case then, hahaha. I am at exactly 7 weeks since the order was placed and I am in D1 status. Oh well.

Yea, I will start with the GM tomorrow.
Never experienced this with any truck order before, though that experience has been limited to Chevy and my wife’s BMW

Your completely wrong. There is absolutely no order. Read this forum this has been discussed many times. Does not matter when you ordered other orders will be manufactured before yours.

Imagine if people were like this over child birth. lol

Yet we all accept that it will happen at an approximate time. And last time I checked, my kids were a skonsch cooler than a new truck... maybe half a skonsch.

@alacombe, my brother, soon you will be in your new truck and then we can argue about who got the better deal and who's truck is 3/4" higher. lol

Big hugs, too all whom wait for their new rides.

I been yelled at when I speak about my deal hahah so I will not discuss that anymore.
