Order Tracking

"Your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment."

Progress!

Just wait for the next thing to set back orders...https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a35755353/car-seat-foam-shortage-reasons/

"Your Ram is built except for using wooden crates. We'll replace them as soon as the seat foam becomes available." Good grief!!! 🤬

I swear after reading all of the delay issues and setbacks you guys are experiencing I swear to God with all of you as my witnesses I will not check on the status of my build! I will know its ready when I get the call from the dealer!!!😣

That's how I feel about my suppressors that are still in gubberment jail. Just forget about them until you can have them...don't think about it, just forget... lol

You guys are way ahead of me. I ordered on 2/17 and was given a VON (Vehicle Order Number?).

I am waiting to get a VIN...or anything.

  • One anonymous auto executive told Automotive News that this is going to be a bigger problem than the microchip shortage the industry is already dealing with.
  • "Everyone is scrambling," one unnamed auto-industry executive told Crain's Detroit Business. "This problem is bigger and closer than the semiconductor issue."
General Motors, Stellantis, Toyota, BMW, Hyundai, and Kia all told Automotive News that they're monitoring the situation but do not have any production stoppages to announce just yet.

Contact your salesman for an updated POC. The VIN usually gets issued the next day when the order is accepted.

3/9/21 update!!!

sooo my build sheet comes up when i use the chrysler website but not the ramtrucks one... also, does the build sheet mean that the truck is done with the "pending installation of additional accessories" ?

In my signature…….12/28. Delivered to dealer 8 weeks and 2 days from order. Seems relatively quick compared to most but others have received even quicker. Makes no sense but happy it’s coming for sure.

what's the Chrysler website?

How do you track where it is with Uconnect?

Once the truck was at the dealer I activated all my Sirius and Uconnect privileges . I think Uconnect is free for the first year and Sirius for a longer period of time. I can even start the truck if I wanted.......I don't.

Currently going wrong way.....

nice, use that TRX as a rock deflector!

Unfortunately, I'm the rock deflector. We are loaded on backwards.

Actually I don't know.........but it kinda looks that way.

Can we get a more in-depth understanding of the UConnect and all that comes with it? Im oblivious, it was my understanding UConnect was simply and only a car stereo and blue tooth for your phone?! You can track your truck via satellite!? You can start your truck remotely from anywhere in the world!? Are these technologies part of a package? Or come standard with the 12-inch UConnect? Help me out, first Ram truck here!

Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh, I really don't know what Rams it comes with. I would think all but now I'm scratching my head. I'd just google Uconnect and maybe add the app to your phone to see what I'm talking about cuz I'm new to this as well. I do know the stuff works though and yes I can start it from anywhere as long as I and the truck have a signal. Kinda freaky.

Opening page to the app......
