Your statement is supported with little to no data. What proof do you have of this for the 3rd Gen other than one example with 42,000 miles…was it one of the problem prone 2nd Gens? Or was it a 3rd Gen? And if a 3rd Gen, how many others have been denied to support your claim FCA “is not standing behind them?”A good friend of mine was recently denied warranty coverage for his 42,000 eco diesel main bearing failure because he does his own maintenance. Even though he had oil receipts they said he couldn’t prove he changed the oil. Total BS as I also do all my own maintenance. I am going to do a separate thread to let people know these engines are still having catastrophic failures and Chrysler is not standing behind them.
