Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

I need "snap in clips" #8 below, Does anyone know where I can get them, what's the part number?
Or anything as an alternative?

Gskowronek, man I wish I had a good answer for as I needed them too when I bought a used set up. I ended up using a similar fastener as the picture shows. I bought a box of Auveco 22909 from Amazon. Problem was they are not quite big enough for my 2022. I was able to bend them some to make them work. I did break a couple trying to “enlarge” them. In the end they worked but as I said, not really right.

I ordered the same ones, nothing else available, will update when they arrive

Yea kinda sucks you can’t get the right ones, I mean obviously someone manufactures them. You get like 20 or 25 clips, just tweak them enough to stay in place. If you break one no biggie. You have backup!!!

Can someone please post nice quality photos of these clips? from different angles?

If I remember right I think my mounting hole was rectangular. The Auveco # crosses over to the Chrysler part number. OP, if your hole is square these will pop right in. No tweaking necessary, but in my case, I had to bend them. Is your hole square?

Yup. Same as mine. So I slowly bent the clips outwards so they would catch under the edge on the longer sides.

Did you use the Auveco clips

Yes, thanks for info, i put electrical tape to hold them in place better, then they expanded with screws and holding good
Looks good. Now you need the Billet Technology underhood dress up kit! Consists of Billet anodized fluid caps. RAM letters from Reflective Concepts. 😃20250507_112202.jpg

Trying to understand a little more about where these intakes ingest their air from. Is it before or after the radiator? I see they pickup air from the portion circled in blue, correct? Is this area before or after the radiator? How about the area circled in yellow, is that open for air to flow into? That area appears to be before the radiator.
Or does air come in where the yellow circle is and the blue circled area is there to dump out any incoming water?

Thanks @mikeru82 and @Trooper4 for the info. I found a video and got a better look at the underside, I can now see the parts I circled in blue are an intake, which is clearly in front of the radiator, I could never tell in previous videos if those parts were solid or an air tract. The part circled in red is clearly an intake, and I could tell as much from other videos, but I'm unsure exactly where that falls in the air tract...like you mentioned, I have to assume it too is ahead of the radiator, else IATs would be insane.RamAirflowIntake.PNG
