Has anyone had an oil change after the ram airflow was installed? I’m at a dealership right now and they told me they had to remove the intake to perform the oil change. He said that there was no way to get the oil in without removing. Still waiting on my oil change price lol.
Hi...No problem at all adding oil. Just use a funnel that can bend. Plenty of room in there...Hope this helps.

Just installed the Ram Air intake yesterday. Took about an hour and I'm not very handy lol. Needed a three step ladder to be able to reach all the bolts and such. Definitely more throttle response and a deeper exhaust note. Looks cool. Adding oil is not an issue. You will need a bendable funnel or you can remove the cover that pops right off in a couple of seconds. If the dealer says they need to remove the intake they are either incompetent, ignorant or lying. I purchased the intake from bamwholesaleparts.com for $711.00 plus shipping to PA which was $90.00. The box is enormous that's why it's so expensive. It's like 3 X 6ft LOL. Good luck and hope this helps...

I ordered mine a week after owning my new ram. Had it on week #2. On week 5 of new ram ownership. I love it - looks super cool and really built sturdy with great fit and finish. looks like an under hood shaker. It offers no odd droning at any cruising speed and I can only hear slight intake sound increase from stock when on the gas hard. There are no dyno's close by however, my butt dyno says it has more git-up and there is a noticeable increase in throttle response. Yes pricey, but exactly the look with performance I was going for. It took about an hour taking my time and actually reading the installation instructions. It could be done in half that time. Thanks Summit Dodge for the quick delivery!

Was anyone able to purchase and install it in Ontario Canada? I haven't been able to find anything especially since with COVID-19. I'd like to get it to help the engine breath a bit better and it won't void the warranty.

Picked mine up from Summit Dodge in Fredericton NB 3 weeks ago. It took 3 days to get it.... probably came from Ontario (?).

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:
Ram's All New Intake, Where Is It?

Funny thing...I think Mopar charges more for theirs because in the manuals and warranty info...they clearly state that if any non Mopar part causes damage, it will not be covered under warranty. So all this crap from K&N stating "will not void warranty" is a complete BS lie...SMH.

Installed the RAM Airflow Intake this weekend. It is much quieter than all of the CAI that I have installed on previous cars and trucks with the same improved throttle response.

Not to mention that it also transforms the looks of engine bay.

Stock intake.

WOW! Look at all that space for activities from the previous air box! I called local dealerships here in Toronto, Ontario. Every dealership has been quoting approximately $1550-$1600 + 2 hours for installation. I might buy it but I really wanna get the sound from a Borla catback S type exhaust :\

Hey Jimmy22, I was quoted 2 hours of labour in Ontario, Canada and the exact dollar amount varies per shop pricing. My dealership stated it'll be approximately $300 worth of labour ($150/hour)

You guys are awesome! Mopar intake, exhaust AND tips!? Sick build! I was thinking about the cold air intake + Borla S type catback exhaust with mopar gloss black tips should it exist. Still researching.

I think for this year, I'll only do the mopar cold air intake as the better response would be nice and maybe the exhaust around Christmas or this time next year. Can someone post a video of their Mopar exhaust? It'll be much appreciated (y)

I paid $100 for labor at my dealer today. They were doing some additional work and I was in and out within 2 hours.

Installed mine this week. The throttle response is definitely improved. It’s noticeable. I actually spun the tires a bit today on dry pavement completely by accident. Wasn’t deep in the throttle, just pressed down quickly. Never did that before.
