I contacted RAM Corporate and started a case number. So how did you start this process? My dealer told me I have to pay for it.
I've just finished talking to ram care and the will only cover everything but $300. I'm waiting to talk to a manager but I was told that that decision was finalI am having the dash delam problem also. DM sent to Ramcares.
I called ram care. They don't careI contacted RAM Corporate and started a case number.
My 2020 Ram limited is having that problem as wellAre there cases of this happening on 2020 models too? Seems like anyone who has had this issue owns a 2019. At least out of those who have listed their truck's information. Some who posted in this thread that they also had this problem didn't specify what year their truck is.
Thats not a bad price at all. I get it, shouldn't have to pay anything and it sucks. I would be happy with only $300 vs 1500 though. I have mine in now and waiting to find out from ram caresI've just finished talking to ram care and the will only cover everything but $300. Waiting on my them to get ahold of my service advisor for same thing probably. Also had a leak in my air suspension. Took 6 months to get new ones in and then they put them on the front instead of the back.....I have a 2022 and it is doing the same thing as my 2019. Talking to my service advisor, FCA is doing a good faith thing where they will pay up to 50%. They will not use extended warranty or anything else like before. My half to do my truck is $800.

I doubt anyone here knows for sure what changes they've made over the years. It's normal practice for most manufacturers of any type of products to make changes/improvements over the life of the product. Most manufacturers don't make those changes public, so only those who need to know about them are informed about the details of those changes.Anyone know if the 2023-2025 are doing this still? I have avoided buying another RAM for this very reason. Had a 2019 Limited and a 2021 Limited Midnight Edition and both did it. Not buying another RAM until I know this issue has been resolved. Shouldn't be that hard...it's pretty clear it's a glue issue that is degrading due to poor quality or the UV rays impacting the dash. For it to go on this long with RAM not making changes to their vendor or the vendor not making changes to its products/processes is just CRAZY to me!!!
I get that and wasn't looking for a definitive answerI doubt anyone here knows for sure what changes they've made over the years. Unfortunately extended warranties don't cover interior soft surfaces like this. It's in the fine print in your contract. I'm not making any excuses for Ram or Stellantis here. They should absolutely put out a TSB which extends the factory warranty for the dash cover de-lamination issue. This issue affects only the top trim levels of their trucks. They risk losing a lot of high end buyers by ignoring the problem. We've purchased two Ram 5th gen Limited 1500's since 2020. We won't be buying another for this and other reasons.Well Ram doesn't care @RamCares. They denied any assistance even though I have all the extended warranties. My truck has been in the shop probably 20 days out of the last 30 getting various things "fixed." First it was the air suspension leaking, it took 6 months to get new ones in. They put them on the front and back was still leaking. Anyone ever drove with them not aired up, its awful. In the shop sitting waiting on parts right now. Then it was the radio not turning on. They tried 3 different things and every time something different happened. Then I got my differential flued changed, now there is a grinding noise coming from the rear end. That of course dealer doesn't hear. Windshield fluid not spraying and squeaking in rear end whenever i go over bumps......sigh all on a 78k truck that i cant get help with to fix the dash they know has a problem.
They have lost me for this exact reason. Not buying an expensive truck only to have my dash come apart and have to fight to get t fixed...horrible customer service and why RAM is suffering BIG TIME now as their quality is in the toilet!!!Unfortunately extended warranties don't cover interior soft surfaces like this.
