Has there been a report of a 23 doing this ? I thought Ram changed the material in 23. My 24 certainly doesnt feel like leather to me !This is why I will not buy another RAM. This $hits been going on with this dash since 2019 and it's still happening on the 2023's too...no excuse for RAM not to address this with their supplier and get it resolved. It is clearly a case of using a poor/defective glue that cannot hold up to either heat, UV, or both
I had the same thing happen. dash came unglued in two spotsSounds good, boofizzle! I look forward to assisting you further.

It says right in the extended warranty description, does not cover glass or soft parts. 600 sounds like a good price. I believe they have to pull entire dash, to remove the pad.I had the same thing happen. dash came unglued in two spots
and the dealer would not cover it. Contacted my extended Mopar warranty and they would not cover it either. Local shops wanted to charge $600.
My parts were supposed to be in at the end of last month and I haven’t been updated since the 23rd of last month. I guess I’ll call the dealer tomorrow to see if they have an update. So here's an update to my situation - as I said earlier in this thread, I had the delaminating dash on my Ram 1500 Limited at 38 months after purchase. I made a call to Ram Customer Service and opened a case. At their request, I took my truck to a nearby dealer to get pics and documentation. Then I called back and was advised that my case would be escalated as I had completed the appointment (this was a Friday). I also contacted RamCares here and provided my case #.
The escalation agent called me back on Monday and let me know my dash would be replaced at no cost, but it would take a week or two to get the replacement dash to the dealer. RamCares also followed up with me and I asked a question to RC as I forgot to get the escalation agent's extension. RC contacted the escalation agent who emailed me my answer as well as their contact info.
In about 2 weeks, the escalation agent calls me to let me know that the dash should be at the dealer and whether I had been contacted yet. I said not yet so the escalation agent said they would contact the dealer and ensure that I got a call back. Later that afternoon, the dealer calls me and said that the dash was in and when would I like to bring my truck in. Also, in parallel, I had the leaking rear window which needed replacement under the extended warrant and that replacement was also in. I scheduled my replacements for Tuesday and picked my truck up today (Thursday).
I could not be happier with the final result, the communication during the process, and the support from Ram.
Finally got a call back from the service manager today. My dash is in but they are still waiting on the backordered backlight glass. I’m waiting to do both at the same time as I don’t want to leave my truck with them two separate times of courseMy parts were supposed to be in at the end of last month and I haven’t been updated since the 23rd of last month. I guess I’ll call the dealer tomorrow to see if they have an update.
Just got my 2021 back from getting a new dash under warranty, which just ended. I was looking into new Mopar extended warranty and they will not cover dash. My concern is this new dash is going to delaminate as well and next time I'm stuck with the rather large bill.No issues yet and no way to prevent it. I never used any chemicals on my dash and it still did it. I believe the issue is contained to the 19 and 20, but time will tell.
They covered mine after having it diagnosed. My pad and back window just came in today so I’ll be getting them replaced soonI just wanted to see if anyone else went this route for the dash delimitation. I have a 2020 1500 Limited and I know the bumper-to-bumper warranty is expired. I reached out to Ram Cares and they asked if I had brought it to the dealership to have the issue diagnosed. I have not so she told me to have the dealer check it out and reach back out. I asked her if this was going to be covered. She said, "Yes, there is a warranty that covered Delaminating however, we advised to take the vehicle first to the dealership to get the factory defect."
So me being skeptical about the way she worded it. I asked if I was covered by this warranty and she said "Yes, But you will be needing to make an appointment to diagnose the vehicle first by the dealership. Then contact us again to escalate the case to our specialist for the next step"
Anyone else have Ram Cares cover it or did they give them issues?

My 2019 has 20,000 miles on it. I sent a PM today. Fingers crossed I get the same courteous response and repair. The dealership finished the dash replacement yesterday. Before I was going to pick it up today Maureen from Chrysler called to tell me that there would not be any charge at all for the dash replacement. This was a gift that I am thankful for, seeing how my truck was out of warranty. Best experience I have had so far with getting repair work done on my truck. It's now back home and my wallet is none the lighter. This also renews my faith in RAM.
Just a follow up on the dash delam. Took about two weeks to get the dash in, it has been replaced and looks great. Thanks to Ramcares for the help. Looks like my dash was approved for replacement. Waiting to hear from the dealer about when the dash will ordered.
Idle, are you saying that they replaced it is essentially one day?So here's an update to my situation - as I said earlier in this thread, I had the delaminating dash on my Ram 1500 Limited at 38 months after purchase. It is a one day install so nothing extraordinary.Idle, are you saying that they replaced it is essentially one day?
So how did you start this process? My dealer told me I have to pay for it.Idle, are you saying that they replaced it is essentially one day?
