Just wanted to throw this out there to see if this is a common problem or an isolated issue? I had my 2019 Laramie 4WD less than 4 weeks and my rear left shock started leaking. Took a week for them to get the replacement shock in and now I'm back up and running. Anyone else having this issue. Wish they would have replaced both since its probably from the same batch from the shock vendor.

Also my brakes squeak horribly on light pressure activation. They said they can’t fix the issue because it wasn’t doing it for the mechanic. I assured them it’s there and it’s loud.

I love it when they say "condition could not be replicated on road test". Because immediately after that I say very loudly "is the shop foreman deaf as well? Maybe he'd like to go for a ride?" It works really well if other customers are lurking!

Never leave till they hear it.

That's interesting, Macarunni. Were you able to point out the noise to them? Send me a direct message if you plan on going back into the dealer. I can get this over to a Case Specialist for further handling.

I have the 2019 classic and just went in for my first oil change today, and they informed me that my front strut was leaking, going in next week to have it replaced.

I have also gone to the dealer for a leaking shock. In the passed I have had Ram 1500's and loved them but wasn't happy with dealers in my area. But I purchased a used 2019 Ram 1500 last month with 18000 miles. I noticed the other day that my right front shock was leaking so off to the dealer. When I spoke to the service manager he drilled me for about 10 min on why I didn't buy the truck from them and why I purchsed it from another Ram dealer. He stated that if I bought it there I should take it there to get it serviced. The dealer I got it from is 1 hour away and they are 5 min away. Aftre going back and forth with them they stated that the strut needed replaced and they prefered I go to the dealer I bought it from. I now have an appointment with another dealer 20 min away and we will see what they say. Come on Ram if I have to drive another hour for warranty service this will be my last Ram.

I bought a new Ram 2500 Big Horn 4WD Cummins in May of this year from a dealer about 300 miles from home. The dealers in my area did not want to deal at all on a new truck and wanted to give me half of what I sold my Duramax for on a trade. I found the Ram on the internet and flew up to the dealer's city and bought it with a hefty discount. Love this truck! Unfortunately, after about a month, the driver's side rear shock started leaving puddles of fluid on my driveway. I took detailed photos of the wet shock dripping fluid and the puddles in my driveway. I contacted a local dealer about getting the shock replaced in June. Told me shock was on back order. The replacement finally arrived at the dealer around December 3rd. I did not want to drive the truck for months with a bad shock. I found a guy who puts lift kits on new trucks for a dealer from whom I was able to buy a complete set of new take-off shocks for less than $100. I took off the bad one and put one of the take-offs on. Perfect. After I was informed that the replacement had arrived at the local dealer, I put the bad one back on the truck and drove it for a couple of days and then went to the dealer. They said they couldn't see anything wrong with it and that the shock looked OK. I suspect that it had lost all of the fluid so it wasn't actively leaking. They told me if they sent it back to the factory they wouldn't honor it and that the dealer would be on the hook for the shock. The idiot service manager tried to tell me that if the shock was bad the truck would be sagging on that corner - apparently had no fargin idea that the springs support the load and shocks dampen oscillations. When you remove the entire shock the level does not change. They told me to drive it more and bring it back if it's obviously leaking. I waited nearly 6 months, calling every few weeks to check on it. It finally shows up and they want to jerk me around. I just don't get it. I'll bet the dealer cost on the shock is <$100. Why not work with me. I'm a small businessman and I'm not going **** off a potential customer over peanuts, especially when I know they are right.

Our shop 2019 2500 RAM with 75k on it had 2 leaking rear front shocks replaced last week, I chalked it up from the heavy loads we put it through daily.
