Tried it, it does work a little bit but not very well. I covered them with a small square of 1/8" thick rubber. you either disconnect the mic wires at the ANC module or have them replace the ANC module.

The TSB for this issue mentioned above totally fixed this issue for me.

Mine was self inflicted. I have the alpine system and upgraded all 4 door speakers. Unknowingly at the time Ram has all 4 doors wired reverse polarity. i was leaving to go on a 7 hour trip and didn't have time to pull apart the door panels to swap the wires, so I tried covering the mics in a pinch hoping i wouldn't have issues. It didn't work so I borrowed some tools and reversed all the wires before my return trip home, problem solved. I have write up on it in the stereo upgrade section on this site. Turns out the wiring diagrams for these trucks do not match the actual wiring in the truck itself.

Hello All,
I just joined this form due to the intermittent noise and vibration on my 2019 RAM 1500. It comes and goes. Thinking it was the transmission; I slipped into neutral; no change. Box cover open/closed; no change. Windows up/down; no change. AC on/off; no change. Engine turn off/on; no change. Radio/sound system on/off; no change. I stopped for gas, turn off engine, upon restart the issue was gone. Pretty sure it will return again.

Has anyone seen, or heard, about some type of official position from FCA on this recurring issue?
Thanks
Ron

I have the same issue. Currently my truck is at the dealer so they can try to fix my rear window leak. (4th attempt loosing faith). I have owned the truck for a month but only get to drive it on the weekends. It stays at the dealership in service the rest of the time lol. Anyways....... I asked the service manager (since its there now) to flash my ANC and reference TSB 08-033-19 as well as check for any other updates. I will let yall know how it goes...... Thank you for all your posts on this.

I've experienced the humming and vibration both at start-up (solution is to stop, sit for a minute, and restart) and in regular driving at a variety of speeds from 30-60, typically with RPM 1500-2000. On a trip last week to/from OK to CO it was unbearable at times with a full load of people and gear. I'm heading into the local dealer in 2 days and will follow the advice given by eduardolalo11 and have TSB 08-033-19 followed. Will post results here.

TSB worked so far. Dealer was also appreciative as I was not the first with this issue and thus far, they have been unable remedy the problem. Fingers crossed....

I have experienced the same problem, lifelong F150 owner, decided to give Ram a shot. So far disappointment is all I can say.

Have you given the dealer a chance to fix it, apply TSB or address it in any way or are you just complaining to complain?? More details needed.

And...if this is your only issue consider yourself lucky...there are some guys on here who got a lemon (which happens with EVERY brand) and who really have something to complain about.

Don’t give up on the Ram just yet. Most new vehicles have some kind of issue. I too was an F-150 guy. Easy fix at dealer. Check this thread for the TSB. Worked for me. Ram should notify all Ram owners. Not sure why there is not a recall.

Ramhead, not the only issue just the most recent. While I commend you on sticking up for other people maybe you should realize everyone on this thread is complaining about it, so get over yourself please. By the way I did give dealer a chance to look at it and said they haven't heard of anyone else with a similar issue and if they can't replicate the noise, they can't diagnose source which in turn means they can't fix.

Same! My dealer ignored the instructions in the TSB hooked the truck up to the computer and told me everything was up to date have a nice day. Its going back in for the rear window and will try to get them to follow the TSB again. BTW this will be the 5th time the truck is at the dealership for the rear window. 15 days out of 30 so yeah i would say I'm giving them a chance to fix it!

Ok... but the post of yours I was referring to did not have a lot of details in it and only seemed like someone having a hissy fit without going through attempts to have the problem addressed. If you had posted what you had just posted here there would have been more info to go by (which is why I said "more details needed") and I would not have assumed you were just complaining to complain. Admittedly I did not search out your previous posts about it to see what else you said (and don't know if you even previously posted that info) but without such knowledge the sparse post of yours I replied to did come off as you whining about something with no indication that you ever did anything about it.

As far as the dealer/TSB goes, that sucks.....I had no issue with having it done and my service manager took my word for it (of course it wasn't doing it when I brought it in) and applied the TSB which fixed the issue. Regarding that TSB....there is a date range listed in the TSB for applicable build dates or which the TSB applies....mine was within the range, maybe yours is not?? (perhaps leading to the issues getting it done without proof).

Took it back to dealer today, experienced issue again Tuesday after work. Service writer said he could not find the TSB for this issue, had him read this thread to see others are experiencing same issue and the qouted TSB number. Ignored thread, hooked up truck and ran for codes, obviously none stored, told me when truck is experiencing issue bring truck to them, I laughed, I live 25 miles from them, asked him if he would drive not knowing what harm he could possibly be doing to his $55,000 investment. Didn't get an answer to that one. Guess I will continue to stop and restart when it happens, I hope they find the source before I do irreparable harm to my vehicle.

Sh*tty dealer...guess I lucked out. It seems like some of these idiots are taking it as a challenge to their authority and have the "we know better than you" syndrome. I can't understand why they would think someone is making this up.

Don't know if it would help but I'd complain to the GM of the dealership and threaten bad pr for them (here, elsewhere & word of mouth). If no help then maybe go to a different dealer? Print out TSB and bring with you telling them that it is the exact issue you are having and you want the fix done.

Brought detailed instructions to service appointment including conditions to duplicate vibration as well as TSB info. Opened FCA case via contacts on this forum. Dealer had truck total of 6 days (also was doing recall fix and replacing exterior passenger mirror) - I called once to ensure they followed the outlined steps and TSB. Picked up on 6th day and find out mechanic drove truck twice by himself and couldn't replicate problem. Also he noted that ANC on current version so they would not reflash. Picked up truck, went out to eat with family (4 people in cab), heard noise - of course.

Stopped at Ford dealer 2 days later but really don't want an F150 - I like my RAM I just want it fixed.

Sounds familiar. Pretty much exactly the same run around i got. Moving forward i plan to disable ANC. More of a problem then a perk in my opinion.

On a side note.....what was wrong with your mirror. I have tow mirrors and my passenger side glass magnification is ridiculous. Curious if this is common or just something i just have to get used to.

I have the standard non-tow mirrors and the passenger mirror folding motor would continue to run after fold/unfold. Dealer replaced right side and told me driver side was also acting up so they went ahead and ordered replacement for it.

I disabled ANC using a delete harness available online. Works like a champ! Truck is still plenty quiet inside and no more annoying drone and having to explain it to an inept dealer service department. 35 bucks well spent
