Icon Vehicle Dynamics Vs. King Coilovers

I saw that as well. The only thing that concerns me with this and the BDS/Fox set up is the lack of rear springs? I wonder why the don't include rear springs at that level of upgrade? I wonder how my non-ORP springs would work in conjunction with a set up like that.

Talked to Icon again. They’re telling me now that their site/advertisements have a misprint. It should state up to 2”, not 2.5. Thus with the Rebel, you may/should only get up to 1”, before taking in to account the variations in vehicle heights from the manufacture. Meaning there are slight variations in height on the same models. This would explain the stockish rake that I have. Again, rides great, just wish I had another inch up front (no pun intended).

That’s kind of a bummer to hear, did you net any lift at all in the front? Also, did you use the Icon rear springs? I think I saw they are supposed to get you a 1.5” lift, which I’m assuming would net .5” on the Rebel.

Hard to tell. Don’t have real good measurements from stock. May e an inch all around. Yes, the stage 5 is front coil overs, rear shocks, rear springs, and uca’s.

Well thanks for the info on the system.... I’m about 50/50 on pulling the trigger in the stage 5 or waiting a couple months for Carli’s kit.

No problem. Honestly, I’d talk to Carli and see what they say. Their prior Gen kits didn’t yield but 2” in front and .75 in rear.

Side note, Icon did say for a normal Ram 1500, their kit would yield 2” up front. So you’d still have a little bit of rake. All personal preference.

BDS / Fox released their 2020 suspension but its only a 1" over stock for rebels

Those FOX 2.5” coil overs with adjustable resis look legit... but wow, $2100 for the set and only 1” lift over stock ORP!

I’m sure they ride nice, but I don’t truly have a use for that much capability anymore now that I live in the midwest

yeah i wouldn't say its worth the cost. my falcon level kit has been amazing for about half the price and i still fit 35s

I’ve ran full Icon setups on two other vehicles and have had nothing but good experiences with their products. I broke down and ordered the stage 5 kit for my 20’ Rebel.
They said I should expect to see at least 1” of lift out of the front on top of the factory 1” Rebel lift, and most likely be able to get 1.5”. I was told the rear springs should settle to a .5” lift over the rebel lift. Depending on the rake, I may just see how the full icon front works with the rebel rear springs and icon rear shocks. Parts are 4-6 weeks out.

I’m looking forward to to testing my Fox out tomorrow with the factory control arms.

What was the part number on those? Last I looked, I didn’t see a Fox w resi Kit... but it’s been a few months now. Looks like it’ll be a nice setup!

Did you take measurements? Looks like you got a fair amount of lift in the front.

Well, how does it compare to stock ride?
Street is really too much, hell my wife didn’t even notice nothing. But where it’s night an day is off road, no whoop issue on the beach hitting 30+ was like nothing. Next weekend I’m trying to hit come trails camping.
