HOW TO: Add Digital Rearview Mirror

That would be great. My 10ft cable came in today, but the trucks at the dealership for a dent repair they caused. Womp. Also, i spoke to a buddy of mine who into car electronics, he also suggested running the wire thru the left side of the truck, like everyone else. Remove the weather strip and pull the wire to the windshield. Apparently moving the cable 1 ft either way makes a difference.

OK so update, I was able to run the 10ft cord and drove around for a half hour or so doing some errands and so far, no TPMS light.

Awesome. Picking up my truck today and first thing im doing is running the 10ft. Imagine thats what caused the problem? Extra 5 feet of wire? Lol

That would be my guess lol. On mine I did have that extra 5ft coiled up near the 3rd brake light which could very well have been the issue but the 10ft definitely seems to be working.

Does anyone have the part number or know what length of fakra cable I would need to go from the mirror to the back of the cab for trailer camera. I already have the jumper from the back of cab to bumper. I just need the from mirror to back of cab.

Happy to announce, after installing the 10ft cable, driving 100 feet, tpms is back online, no more light. Fingers crossed

Lol same, only i paid $1200 from infotainment

Wow, they went up a bit. I think I paid right around 1k for the kit. I was going to keep the brake light in so it wasn't a total loss lol. But glad you got yours squared away too. It is a cool feature.

i forgot this option Digital Rear view mirror when i ordered the truck.
i did order mirror 68532263AC and CHMSL 68552687AB
Installed everything, activate with ALFA OBD and that don't work, i get an image on the mirror that the camera is not connected.
i have code U0213 B2299
I thought it was the camera that was the wrong number, i tried with 68552685AA and that still doesn't work.

help.

For that mirror and camera, you can’t plug the camera directly into the mirror. You need the rear view mirror camera processor that goes under the driver seat.

No that’s not it. The digital mirror camera processor you need is 68508050AD.

Not a chance if your truck did not come factory equipped with a digital rear view mirror.

Ok!. So i choosed the wrong mirror i think.
Which one would of been a bolt on?
Because this module i think i will need all the camera hooked up if i want it to work?

I looked under the seat and no wiring so i guess that will never work. Unless i bring a switched ignition feed and groud.
