How to: Add Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane assist, FCW & Auto Hi-beam to Ram 1500

i have a 2020 1500 came off a 21 1500 . i ran the vin from the donor truck and it showed to have adaptive cruise
So i had a issue of the abs module saying it lost communication with the dasm but everything worked as intended, i just had a pesky esc light that came about after changing the abs module. Not having esc was fun for a whole 45 minutes ( leaving parking lots sideways without throttle cut woohoo). But come to find out I added a fuse to the wrong circuit in the fuse box. BE SURE TO USE FUSE 66. I had it in the position right above it. NO BUENO

Semi parking: Changed rear fascia, installed additional sensors and required Parking assist module. Configuration in alfaobd is changed as well. Can't activate my Park Assist button. Any ideas? Checked the manual, all requirements are fulfilled, except: Electronic Stability Control/Anti-Lock Braking System intervention? @Jimmy07 : does semi parking system require to have the same ABS module. as for ACC? Haven't change mine yet, because my ABS control module was lost with the last delivery.
@St-na when you installed the parking assist module did your truck already have the wiring to connect to it? I'm just beginning this project and trying to determine what parts I need to purchase. The only area I'm struggling with is how to connect to the parking assist module and where it is supposed to be mounted on the truck.

When I looked at the harness at the driver front I did not see an extra connector that would be used to connect to the parking assist module.

You have to replace the parktronics module. It just plugs in using the same harness.

I should have a used ABS module delivered tomorrow from LKQ to complete the ACC install. The build sheet for the donor vehicle shows it has the Adaptive Cruise Control w/Stop and Go. Is it possible to unplug my current ABS module, plug the module I receive, log into the used ABS module with AlphaOBD and check the donor VIN number before completing the physical install?

I've got an odd one...a couple months ago my truck started randomly shutting down driving down the road. Had no choice but to take it to the dealer. They replaced the PCM. Didn't fix it. But it did wipe out my ACC. Went back to the dealer - different tech found a bad ground wire to the PCM which was the problem all along. They can't get my ACC back online even after re-installing the original PCM. There is now a Chrysler engineer involved. I'm worried they flashed/wiped the settings/firmware in the ABS ECU/HCU when installing the un-needed PCM on the first attempt. If so - I may not be able to simply fix the problem myself w/ AlfaOBD. I don't really want to risk picking up the truck and having the dealer close the case and leave me having to buy another ABS ECU and HCU to get ACC back. Any suggestions on what I can tell the dealer or the engineer needs to be done??

The dealer won't be able to make changes to the BCM to add ACC back. If they replaced the PCM, that should not have messed with the settings. Or are you confusing the PCM and BCM? But yes, if they flashed the ABS module, then you would lose that. I doubt they will do anything to fix this for you. You installed an unsupported system on the truck. You might need to get another ABS/HCU.

They told me it was the "power control module" that was replaced and later have been calling it a "pcm". Don't know the actual part number.

Do you know if your truck had the ABS recall? That would have been a reason to flash it? As mentioned in here before, you would have to tell them not to perform that.

Turns out I had the ABS recall done back in the fall at my last oil change - and everything worked fine afterwards. I must have had that previous service done before the mailing or notification of the recall b/c I had no idea at the time. I was a bit worried about taking the truck to a dealer for the next service (i had pre-paid) b/c of that concern. Then with the random shutting down while driving issue - truck went to the dealer. I warned them about the ACC activation and ABS/HCU w/ concerns it would be disabled by that recall - was informed it had already been done at the previous service.

(There was another recall on the turn signal clock spring which was done during this random shutdown problem.)
