Anyone has a good idea how to pull out this plastic connector. Struggling 2nd day with the attempts to connect rubber grommet back in place. No good video on youtube.

There are clips on the top and bottom. I was able to get one out and then hold it loose while pushing on the other one.

Was shopping for CVPM and realized, that 68318033AI fits only 19-20, for 2021 correct part number is 68451000AC. Wondering why they are different, is it the radio?

Do you have Uconnect 5? There is a different one for UC5. I'll add this information to the main page.

The 2021 68451000AC is used on the 2021’s because that’s the year they used tow mirrors with cameras. Basically, this CVPM overlays a diagonal striped safety zone on the sides of the truck in the over head view, instead of just the front and rear. As long as you have UC4, either CVPM should work.

If the radio is UC5, then CVPM 56029964AF to be used.

No, I do not have UC5, that's why I asked. All clear now. 68451000AC even cheaper.

I got the replacement letters with camera:

But on my stock grill, the letters don't come out:

It's all one big, plastic piece. Suggestions?

Strange for Big Horn. You may have similar solution with Rebel: Adding 360 Surround camera for 2019-21 1500 Rebel
I am working on the same project today and faced different problem, received letters are different with my Laramie. What is the part number from Your letters?

My part no. is: 68341467AC

Looks like they handled their grill issue with some DIY. I'm going to look for a part no. for the camera grill.

Just realized, that stupid dealer send me wrong Backing plate Emblem 68341469AB instead of 68341467AC. Before I get correct one, I decided to make DIY project. Since grill is removed already, I can't afford waiting few weeks for the new part.

Wondering, is the tow mirror cvpm required if you're running tow mirror cameras? I'm getting my front and back to calibrate but my left and right won't take for anything. I didn't realize until Jimmy mentioned it that there were two versions of the cvpm specific to the mirrors.

So, I just went through a bunch of 2021 listings on autotrader, and one thing is definitely common:
Trucks that have surround view with regular mirrors (1C6SRFHT2MN583901) have this safety zone overlay image:
B3A89FAF-AADB-4ABF-A196-D1F398F948E4.jpeg

Trucks that have surround view with tow mirrors (1C6SRFHT6MN652797) have this safety zone overlay image:
4C9D9878-236E-42C4-9CCF-AE69EDCC47E4.jpeg

That image is generated by the CVPM, so that indicates there has to be two different part numbers for 2021+, even though all the parts lists are only showing one part number for 2021.
The calibration must be affected between the two because regular tow mirrors have cameras that are flush mounted aiming straight down to the ground, and tow mirrors have cameras that are mounted in pods that are angled out and towards the rear of the truck.
To know for sure the difference in part numbers, someone would have to run those two VINs at a parts department to see which CVPMs those trucks are equipped with.

@vincentw56, I made an edit to the CVPM for UC5 part number above. It is actually 56029964AF. The one I pasted previously was for a 2023 HD Ram.

Thanks, Jimmy. I'm going to run with it and snag the 21 cvpm ( 68451000AC) you mentioned to test it out. I'm working on a nice collection of these cvpm units 🤣😭 hopefully that's the ticket and we can add it to the required for X description.

Edit- I ordered online with vin verification, so hopefully they kick it back if it's wrong and I'll update the part number.

I ordered 68451000AC, but probably need 68318033AI (I have normal mirrors), seems like I am going to collect cvpm as well. Not sure, if we can return them.

Potential CVPM swap between you two?…

Great idea, missed that. Looks like they're back ordered on the 68451000AE right now anyway. Good looking out, Jimmy!

I just checked my order status, it has been canceled, due to unavailability. Will check tomorrow parts numbers for both VINs given by @Jimmy07 .

1C6SRFHT2MN583901 with regular mirrors has also "Trailer camera wiring preparation package by Mopar" Any influence to cvpm?
