Has anyone tried 305 45 22" Tires on their stock 22" rims?

I have a little over 16k on my limited (5k towing) and the stock tires are almost shot. The GY eagle touring have to be the worst tire I've ever had. Looking for any AT tire suggestions, I've run the nitto ridge grapplers on my F-350 and loved them, not sure if they'll be too heavy for a half ton.

I put on a set of 305/45/22 Hankook Dynapro AT2's (NOT the ATM's) and they seem to be pretty good so far. I haven't gotten the chance to use them in our nice MN winter yet obviously but we will see how they go! Also, I paid about $800 less than the equivalent size Ridge Grapplers......just FYI.

In running 305/45/22 Nitto G2s on stock 22"s with a 2.5" level.

Brother, I am an absolute newbie with this stuff so take my opinion with heavy dose of salt... that said, it depends on how much clearance you’re getting from the daystar and links.

Like someone else said above, I experience some rubbing on a full hard turn in entry/exit and aero modes. Very slight and I think bending the plastic out of the way should solve it. But remember that I haven’t done anything to lift or level this one yet. If you get an additional 2” out of what your doing, I think a 35” setup would look sexy.

I’m at 33” and it looks good... just wish I had a little more meat to the tire. That’s all just personal preference.

I can attest to the ride quality of the Nitto Ridge Grapplers though. Smooth! A little bit of extra noise but I barely detect it.

I ordered the 285/55 22 ridge grapplers today, should be in next week.

Thanks again for the advice

Love these things.. completely changes the look and feel of the truck, especially leveled with the Daystar spacers and Revel links.

I'm pretty sure the guys at Rim Pros in Lafayette adjusted the links and speedometer when they did the alignment, rake is about 1/4" now. Everything works and no rubbing

Those look great. I definitely like them better than the stock tires. I need to put them on my list.

Looks great, did you do a wheel spacer as well?

offset +25. No rubbing. I put 1/4” spacers though cause I was worried about it.

Anyone know the offset on the sport 22” wheels. Thought they were +19 but the above poster said the limited wheels were +25, so i can’t imagine them making two different offsets in the 22” configuration

Sport 22's are +19, just had mine off last week.

My laramie running sport OEM 22s with Nitto terra grapplers G2 size305/45/22 ... the slightest rub on the right pass front wheel liner at full lock. nothing to worry about rides great and looks awesome!

Did you plasticdip the wheels? I don't understand why Ram didn't make the wheels all black from the factory.

I can say with the 305/45/22 Nitto 420V's A/S that there is some rubbing at full lock in Aero Mode but not in Normal so far. The tire makes the truck almost a half inch taller and also the tire pressure needs to be 38 or under for the comfortable ride charicteristics.

I am looking at these larger tires to replace the stock Goodyears and wondered if anyone has tried them or what is the largest size anyone has tried on the 22" with 4x4 Air Suspension. I am looking for tires that don't rub in any of the Air Ride heights.

I put 305/45r22 on my 2019 limited, took off the gy highways and put Nexen Rodian AT
