10,000how many miles since you had it done?
10,000how many miles since you had it done?
finally took mine in for the backup/moan. They said the tsb parts will probably take a MONTH to arrive! WTF. Now I see there are TWO tsb's (only a few days apart) for this issue....one involves new pads/calipers, the other some clamps/mounts....so which is the correct tsb? Anyone?
There are something like 4 TSBs on this. FCA can't figure it out. Good luck. I have Chewbacca in the bed of my truck every morning. What a joke for a $74000 truck.hopefully this fixes everything....thought there was a TSB on the rear brake moan? was just changing the pads the TSB fix?
Just joined this forum to find out more info. regarding the Growling Breaks in the morning. Took my 2019 Ram to dealership on Dec.12th 2019 and said parts are VIN specific and had to be ordered, then they were on back order. Reached out Jan.6th 2020 now he is saying back ordered until after Jan. 18. Still have not heard from dealership. Help??
wonder what that rain brake support actually does...
Thanks ,was wondering.click the link and read my friend,
'' When certain vehicle sensors detect rain, the system automatically sends intermittent signals to the calipers which push the pads lightly against the rotors – hard enough to scrape off water, but not so hard that it reduces wheel speed. ''
I have a 2019 (new body style) and my breaks make a horrible noise when backing up in the morning or after sitting for many hours. I'm driving a $47,000 truck and it sounds like an old piece of **** when I go in reverse. Had it to the dealer thee times and it's still not fixed. First time they had no idea what was wrong. Second time, dealer admitted it was a problem on these new trucks but there was no solution yet, and if they replaced brakes, it would probably keep making noise. Brought back the third time and they cleaned the calipers. Stopped the noise for two days and now it is back. Would it be worth contacting Ram directly?
