Fox 2.5 DSC Suspension - A Brief Overview, Procedure, and Review of Proper Suspension Setup

I totally understand your excitement. But, take your time and do it right. The Eibach's are for off roading. Something I really wanted. As time went by and I began bringing more stuff with me(guns and ammo are heavy) they bogged down under the load. They are great if I'm just exploring. In fact, they are awesome. They just aren't designed for hauling loads. The airbags make a great difference and when I'm unloaded I air them down. Just not what I had originally planned for.
Ahhh, I forgot to mention, when my truck was about a week or so old, I popped both rear springs out, cut one full coil off the RR the side-to-side level it..AND added Airlift bags into the rear coils that I run at 5psi. I'll swap those into the new rear Eibachs or ORPs also for the added adjustability👍

don't sleep on the clayton rear springs if you have constant load. im beyond happy with mine even though they were a royal pain in the **** to put in.
not sure about unloaded performance though because there's no such thing as "unloaded" on my truck anymore.

Which Clayton coils are you running. Wondering if I could swap them in, instead of using a spacer, but wonder how much lift.

Ok everyone..I talked to Dillon at Fox.
(#1) Fox factory sends the PE DSC 883-06-166 set at 3.0" lift.
(#2) ☆☆2 FULL rotations of the preload locking collar equals 1/4" of height change☆☆
(#3) Threads do not equate to collar rotatuon or height change.

Dillon confirmed for me that if I want 2.75" lift, I should back off the preload collar 2 FULL turns and that would be 2.75" lift.

do measurement to double check.
when i asked "how many turns to bring it down 1"?" they told me "half to three quarters of a spin should do the trick"

and that is direct from the service department.

Good advice!
As much as I like to plan out every detail before I start a project, I do imagine I'll have to readjust the front PEs ride height after installing them..because I'm so particular on dialing in my setup..NO WAY it's gonna be spot on, but I'm shooting for as close as possible.
Currently bogged down with summer stuff..hoping to install the Thuren rear U/L CAs next Monday, then get some miles on to "feel" out they're improvements..Foxs will be a couple/few weeks yet(?)..but I'm excited!

Hey..quick question..has anyone noticed if the front PEs droop/sag after installing them and putting some miles on?
Just wondering if I should set a hair high initially if they'll settle?

Mine had very minimal droop after installing.

If mine did, barely anything since I measured other day and seem to be the same.

Also excellent!
I'll set tight to what I expect will be correct height then..hoping not to have to readjust.
Gonna back off 2 full collar turns for 2.75" lift, which should give me Level lift again at +1" F/R with the rear Eibach coils.
Thanks!👍

I'd go the regular coils since I'm not hauling weight like you. I'm just worried about how much lift they might actually give. I don't want factory 2" rake and they're $300ish to find out they give me too much lift. Worse case I crank up the coilovers slightly maybe .5" max.... not sure I wanna do that though.

I had forgotten that I had this SS pic of Eibach's CO...1 FULL turn = 1/8" which jibes with Fox saying there's is 2 FULL turns = 1/4"
